I thought about that too but I remember Raikage punching the front and Sasuke was just knocked back. That whole fight leads me to believe that the open part of the ribcage could still be protected from chakra alone or something. I'm not sure if this is true or not but it seems like a possibility.

No. For all intents and purposes, No. Susano-o is nigh-invulnerable, and even when it's been shown to "break" the user inside is never damaged, and the only time it was ever "broken" is when it was sustaining MASSIVE amounts of trauma. I mean what ever gave you the indication that it ever would do that? Just because it has some nice visuals? I hope you realize that Kishi ALWAYS give everyone really awesome visuals for their attacks, so that people think their favorite character is awesome.

Susanoo is being underrated lately, just because a few managed to break it doesn't mean people should underrate it, it's still considered the best defense in the manga (apart from Obito's Kamui).

To answer your question, no, first version of Susanoo would tank it easily.

lol someones cranky. anyway I dont think so, it might could break ribcage depending on the circumstances, but it wouldnt break V2 imo. Danzo created an opening in the back of V2 however with the help of the baku (i think?). Maybe Darui could do something similar with black lightning but who knows.

I didn't leave out anything. I just didn't mention it because it has nothing to do with my question. Laser Circus shouldn't be taken into consideration at all for this question because it is completely different to Black Lightning. Its not info its spam because its completely off-topic.

My point was that a very powerful kekkai genkai elemental attack (Laser Circus -> Lightning and Water) did not penetrate V2 Susanoo (same with a bunch of other attacks at the same time at the Kage Summit), so a very powerful single elemental attack (Black Lightning) will most likely end in the same result. That is the link.

And as I said in my first post, Black lightning could probably get through V1 Susanoo due to the gaps in this version. V2, probably not.

The bunch of other attacks was a Kunai, a bit of wind and Gaara's bullets. You never said that comparison in your first post. :|
All you said is that V2 already blocked Laser Circus. How am I meant to infer that you were comparing their strengths from that little sentence. :sy:
