NB has reached consensus several times before that SM Hashirama stomps Itachi. But what about Base Hashirama? Can Base Hashirama beat Itachi with canon showings?

Canon showing means Itachi is as healthy as Kishimoto drew him in the manga, not fanfic Itachi with unlimited chakra

But as he's fought in multiple wars mainly against uchiha, the hype gives him an unseen counter to these things.

Base Hashirama still has Shisuusenju, just not as big as the "Sage Art" one. Spiral Zetsu did it using Hashi's DNA.

Also Hashirama still has loads of crazy Mokuton techs such as Flower Tree World.
