Can anyone help me?

I love watching movies/tv shows bluray/1080p quality but sometimes when I'm travelling, I can't take all my bluray dvd's with me and it takes forever to torrent real dvd quality.

Is there a way I can transfer files from a dvd to an external hard drive?

Let's say I have the first season of a tv show, is it possible to just copy the episodes and not the whole menu/files? If so, what program do I need to do this?


Bottom line: I want to backup most of my movies/tv shows that I have on dvd's to my external hard drive.

Idk but I'm pretty sure there are software you can install to rip dvd's and bluray, but I don't know any specific ones.
However next time I suggest buy digital copies instead of physical medias like dvd's and bluray from amazon, itunes, etc so you can save it to your computer and other devices.

not fully sure what u asked . .still i would say why dont u jus copy the files inside DVD into external hard drive?

put the disc in your computer
open "computer"
right click your dvd and explore... you should see your movie and you should be able to extract the file to your External HDD?

Never used blueray discs..
