i started reading it and it really didn't caught my attention.. 10 episodes deep and i dropped it.

believe it or not you did exactly what I did. I tried reading it in about 2007 or so and only got past about 5 episodes. but in december of last year I was encouraged to read it again so I did. The epicness doesn't start till the end of the arlong arc everything before it is really boring and stupid but it gets amazing afterwards. if you can get past the albasta arc and still not like it then you won't enjoy it and should drop it
