True I think this was exploited in one of the Movies with Sasuke targeting them with Chidori senbon tho why would Obito's more mature sharingan not have this ability? And JJ madz should have stronger eyes than most but it could simply be that kishi jus tossed it in there.

I don't think that what Madara saw was a chakra point , sure the sharingan and the rinnegan can see the flow of chakra through the body , but not chakra points

but since they can see the flow of chakra through the body , they would sure know when a chakra point is blocked or not
