thank bro. u got my point. Itachi never extinguished his amatersu so by manga it should be still burning and razing hell through out the earth. I think it should had killed more lives than TBB by now bcoz itachi's amatersu can only be deactivated by itachi or get sealed but both didn't happened.

amaterasu seems like a fail move as long as it doesn't hit...but once it hits, there's no way the victim can survive unless he cuts that amaterasu'd portion off the body or uses shinra tensei. So basically amaterasu is more of a deadly attack. And sasuke has a unique mastery in manipulating those black flames with susanoo. So overall i think sasuke has the potential to defeat any opponent.

I had understood that the first explanation of Amaterasu in part 1 said that it burned for 7 days and nights, and then it would stop. It's been considerably more than a week since Itachi vs Sasuke. So no.

Amatersu is probably the most pathetic MS move I've seen thus far. So many people can avoid it just by sealing it or use defensive justus to block it.

Raikage has just one arm because he himself sacrificed it. It's not like Sasuke managed to get him by himself... So whether Sasuke is the only one who uses it effectively or not, at least for attacking, is still debatable.

Yeah, that it absorbs chakra, so it could in theory absorb Amaterasu. It's debatable though.
