Can amaterasu burn through Yata mirror

i have been thinking about this lately. can amaterasu burn through yata mirror.

Amaterasu: burns anything to ash (even fire) O__o

Yata mirror: alot agree as the ultimate defence (shield)

I don't think so. It is an elemental move, and the yata mirror can change it characteristics so that it can nullify the attack. I'm pretty sure it could do the same to Amaterasu.

Nope it can't burn through the shield, but there is still one thing i question.
Most jutsu dissipate on impact or shortly after, the amaterasu was said to burn for seven days and seven nights... so what happens now? It can't burn through the shield, but it will keep on burning there... what happens when the user cancels susanoo? The mirror disappears, but what happens to the flames?
