You see how Sasuke or Madara got his with taking there brother eyes you will have EMS. If you only have one eye I think the other person will not have it because he didn't change eyes.

Kakashi somehow got MS when Obito unlocked which seems kinda farfetched

Obito has hashi dna on his sharingan side, and has not shown any signs of eyesight deterioration.

So if the ms does not go blind, it is basically a ems.

But a non uchiha cannot unlock a TRUE ems,(on with the combination of MS patterns)

You need the eyes of a closely related Uchiha's own Mangekyou Sharingan to be implanted into your eye sockets, and if there is no blood relation with the Uchiha, then that cannot happen
