Can a EMS user use Izanagi or Izanami without going blind?

So we both know using Izanagi and Izanami causes the sharingan eye to go blind but if a Uchiha with the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan uses it will they go blind as well?The EMS is supposed to prevent the user's eyesight from going away but can it circumvent the penalty of using Izanagi or Izanami?My answer is yes since what would be the point of stating the EMS prevents you from becoming blind if using Izanagi and Izanami does so anyway,

That would be way overpowered and boring to watch, what suspense and great fights would come from someone who can revive as much as they want? Danzo was a good fight but that's not the same, he actually went blind and had to be very careful.

Nah. Izanagi closes the eye, once it's used, the eye itself can never open again.
Izanami doesn't make a user lose it's sight, it turns the eye black or normal. Never allowing the user to use the sharingan in that eye again. Otherwise, EMS would be hella OP

I think it will take the light away, cuz an MS loses light by overuse of its abilites, such as Amaterasu, Tsukiyomi, and Susano, but the EMS doesnt.


Izanagi doesnt affect light by overuse, it can be done one time only, so that must also work with EMS.

Well no basis for that, but it would be cool if sasuke could use it like 30 sec for izanagi and once in year izanami. Wouldnt be OP

Not if there was a limit like extreme chakra exhaustion after repeated use.

Good question, all ways wondered about that to. He would be overpowered as hell so maybe he can use them but it takes a huge amount of chakra, so he could only use it twice in a day.
