Xanthias assembles the cabins all in the front porch of his luxurious cabin, which is more like a house than a cabin, and starts informing them of strategies he has come up with, ignoring the occasional joke about what conspired in the cafeteria. He wasn't all that bitter about what happened because he knew that when it came to battle, he IS the best there is. He'll impress Melody and make sure to put the hurt on that wise guy Nylocke especially.
