[Theory] Calling it right now. Jimbie dies

Making this thread to put my foot in the door. Jimbie is going to die this arc. I'm just getting the vibe that we're going to get a whole "everything is going to be alright" vibe to a completely flipped jimbie dies situation. I just can't see jimbie actually being a part of the sh crew. But those are my two cents.

Now that we have the fleet that's not that hard to get around, obviously Jinbei would be a good addition to the SH core crew but he's a better addition to the fleet with the Sun Pirates.

I think Luffy dies and Jimbei kills the SHs in their moment of shock. But here´s roughly a 5 percent chance that my theory won´t happen.

Yeah, I agree.. him joining the crew as an addition to the fleet (along with his crew of course) is a good way for everything to be resolved when it comes to him "joining" the SH's..

There is an issue though, he has a crew and joining the SH's directly would mean relinquishing his crew. If he wanted to do that why wouldn't he have abandoned them for Ace, WB or BM by now? And you could say he could join and let the Sun Pirates operate under a new leader under the SH fleet but when has Luffy hinted he'd be ok with Jinbei separating from his crew to ride on the Sunny?

Why would he? How do you even know he had an invitation to join these crews?

Oh man are we really saying this argument still? Luffy doesn't give a shit if someone separates from their crew to join his so long as the crew is okay with it.

Luffy took Sanji from the Baratie.

He took Franky from the Franky Family.

He keeps on saying that Law is a Strawhat, even though he knows Law has a crew of his own.

If the Sun Pirates said they're cool with it, then Luffy wouldn't give a shit.

For a min, lets ignore the cover pages (with the number 10 drop) which he has reviewed that historically have prelude to a SH joining. Jinbei has stated all his life he has sacrificed for others & wants to make a selfish decision by joining Luffy. To which your saying Oda will turn sadist, turn heel and punish him by killing him? How about the story line revolving around the strained human - fishman relationship or the wills of Otohime and Fisher Tiger both which he inherited? I think if he dies it will make Liffey stronger cause since aces death to me I was hoping he would be more like roger and ace toward his friends. But he's not at that level yet. His one leg was never shown in any of those panels, it's still possible he lost a leg. Plus this is a pirate manga do we even have one peg leg?

I don't think Jimbei 'can' die because he really is the only big and relevant fishman left in the story. If he bites it who will be the fishman representative for the rest of the story or the one who leads the sun pirates ?

He is the link to fishman island and probably has connections with Hack and Jack etc. So for plot reasons Oda still needs him after Fishman Island.
