Can some expert Luffy fan give me some points as to why Luffy>Zoro? I want details and not just ''Luffy is captain'' and ''Roger>Rayliegh''
Naruto fans give points as to why Naruto>Character instead of using the words ''Naruto is the title of the manga'' and Bleach fans give points as to why Ichigo>Character instead of using the Main Character hype (Not comparing fans so lets not start something pointless)

So IYO how does Luffy defeat Zoro? And dont use Luccie>Zoro because this Current Zoro eats Luccie so the Enies Lobby argument is pointless

TBH i dont have any explaination as to why Luffy>Zoro and even i use the words ''Luffy is the captain'' or ''Roger>Rayliegh'' so i want to here it from you guys...

Well, first of all, luffy has partial mastery of all thre types of haki. Second, he has his gears, which TREMENDOUSLY improve his speed and power. He has shown to be a better fighter than Zore, besting opponents much stronger than Zoro's. While i do believe that they arent that far apart in strenght, i can almost certainly say that luffy is stronger

yes zoro is fighting against stronger oppponents but still lufy would have lost hard against zoros sword opponents

i think zoro would beat luffy because of his swords
luffys haki couldnt protect him against fishmen teeths

zoros sword + haki > luffys haki

Ive always considered those two pretty much equal .
Both have good range .
Both have good strength.
Luffy is faster.
Zoro has more endurance (tank)
Zoro can cut Luffy rubber .
Luffy can hit Zoro in second gear.

So yea pretty much equal.

Also I think Zoro would have advantage fighting in the ocean ... Just sayin

It's pretty same situation in Bleach. Both Ichigo and Luffy were portrayed right from the start (nearly) as stronger than their nakama, on the other hand, Naruto was not portrayed as strongest at the first, actually Sasuke was stronger for good deal of manga, and they were portrayed as equal for good perion of time.

Situation in Naruto is not same as in the OP and Bleach.

1. Luffy is a captain. I never saw any First mate being stronger than Captain. Roger > Silvers, WB > Marco (and other commanders), Shanks > Benn, Doflamingo > Corazon/Pica/Trebol/Diamante, Kid > Killer,....

2. Luffy was always matched with strongest opponent, while Zoro fight second strongest and Sanji third.
Arlong > Hatch, Crocodile > Daz Bones, Lucci > Kaku, Doflamingo > Pica.

3. Zoro will not work under someone who is weaker than him. Zoro even said once: "If you are weak, than I will become captain" or something along this line.

Luffy > Zoro.
