I hate everyone hated Final Fantasy - The spirits within unless your talking about Advent Children?

Mixed feelings. We've yet to have a game movie on a masterpiece level like it's video game counterparts. Bioshock, MGS and GeoW movies do have solid premises to change this trend and PoP next year might be the beginning of decent to excellent quality adaptions, though I'm not holding my breath. CoD on the other hand is pretty much just your average action war movie storywise. You'd could probably make one any action movie and just slap the CoD title on it and it would be enough to sell but still suck. This would work well if they took the Bourne Identity/Black Hawk Down style of being fast paced and gritty and not the campy gung-ho style of G.I.Joe.
