i still think hashirama senju would be able to defeat madara.
Cause isnt the 1st hokages ability to give birth or kill life(he does make trees out of nowhere) and he can make them dissapear or easily rot in a matter of a second,so wouldnt that cancell out madaras edo tensai?cause cant he just make his body into a real one,since he has half of his dna in him.and since madara is physically present.cant the 1st take all his cells and powers back just like orichimaru(its basically a curse mark).so that would leave madara without the rinnegan,which would leave him as the regular madara uchiha(ems).wich would then make the match even and the 1st would win again just like in the valley of the end?(i dont really know the specifics in edo tensai and how it can be cancelled aside from the user to dismiss them.but i do know you can seal them away,maybe even use medical ninjutsu to make them weaker,by giving them life force since they are dead.
(note:the 1st was married to an uzumaki,so he definetly know sealing jutsus,it would be dumb if he didnt take the time to learned them since he was married to his wife for a certain amount of years)

dude BM naruto has more chakra than what madara uses in his perfct susanoo,and the wood dragon absorbed it in a matter of seconds,what will happen to madara's susanoo if that dragon attacks it?it will be absorbed in a matter of seconds,plus pretha path can't absorb wood attacks(physical attacks in general,like water,or earth jutsus),and shinra tensei won't help him a lot,so hashirama,is still having a good chance.
and madara stated himself after having rinnegan that the only one to stop him is hashi,you can't just say madara is a liar

the bandaged gu(i think his name is muu)when kabuto was controlling him and speaking for him,he told everything to madara even the technique he was resurrected in,and even after he got all this info two chapters later he reveals that the 1st is still the only one who can stop him.(doesnt that tell you something)i mean he even took the attack that showed harishamas cells in him just to get a little shock from his opponents,so in the back of his mind he knows even with all his power boost the 1st can still take him on.

that's an interesting point. I think you might be on to something looking at it from this approach. I think Hashi can extract his cells from Madara, but I'm not sure how useful it would be. Remember Kabuto was under a genjutsu so Oro could just stroll up to him and casually remove his chakra. Madara is under no threat of genjutsu against Hashi.

also to highlight another difference, the curse mark is made by Oro's chakra while Madara actually has Hashi's cells. I think the odds that Hashi can still extract his cells because they respond to his mokuton jutsu is still good though. So for example, Hashi would maybe be able to manipulate the cells within Madara since they are his? It's an interesting problem, because we're not sure if Madara can feel those parts of his body or they are just symbiotic appendages whose whole function is just to give him Senju dna. Based on the Hashi face on Madara's chest I'd say its more of the latter, and that those cells would be more a part of Hashi than of Madara.
