Nope. They're not the same. Nature energy is from life forms around you.(grass and shit). Cosmic energy is basically spiritual energy in its rawest form or allowing your body to be the host for a spiritual form such as the Phoenix force or Avatar who can call upon past avatars and use their strength.

Nature energy can be created or destroy. Cosmic energy can't really be destroy. It can return to the spirit world, travel until it find a host, or reform.

Compare the amount of Susanoo users with the amount of Chakra Avatar users. Ashura is an exception because he was Hago's son. But the Uchiha were able to use Susanoo if they had DMS.

Madara, Sasuke, Itachi, Obito had the chakra to use Susanoo. Hashirama didn't even have an avatar he used Mokuton to make a Buddha Statue. Naruto only had one because of the bijuu in him.

In the span of 1000 years, Ashura only had one descendant capable of using an avatar. Meanwhile Indra had 3 descendants capable of using Susanoo in the span of only 100 years or so. (Madara, Itachi, Sasuke)

Susanoo is the user's special chakra produce from the brain. No unlimited supply of chakra like them senji folks. Them senji have access to unlimited NE as long they body can handle it.

Kish failed to explain how them eyes transplant work. Some saying it gave them more chakra or just remove the blindness. If this is all true, when did Indra went blind and shit?

NE isn't only on Earth because Naruto was able to use RSM in different dimensions and also used it on the Moon when he fought Toneri.

The Toneri fight might not be canon but Kishi allowing Naruto to absorb NE on the moon would signify that NE is a universal energy.

Just because it's not translucent like Naruto's Kurama avatar, does not mean that it isn't Hashirama's avatar.
As Hashirama is a really special case in this manga.
