I'm doing some calculations with the Naruto time periods. To the current date, Naruto is 16 so the fox's attack to the village was 16 years ago.
Kakashi became a Jonin at 13, and that was during the 3rd great shinobi war. That was also the day when Obito & Rin died. I think I've read somewhere that he was 27 at the start of Naruto, so he's probably 29 now (don't know).
My question is, how many years after the 3rd shinobi war did the fox attack Konoha? Or is the war still going on at that time? How many years did the 3rd shinobi war take place? I've noticed that when Kushina related to Naruto what happened that day, Kakashi and Gai where already like full-grown teenagers.
