Caius is a tall, slender, and muscular man with light bronze skin and purple eyes. He has long purple hair adorned with feathers and tribal beads, and he wears a long, purple and black headband. Caius's form-fitting black and purple armor resembles Bahamut the chaos dragon and he wears dark boots lined with white fur.
The Etro script on Caius's armor translates to: Undying Witness of Infinite Fate.

Caius is a powerful warrior of equal strength to to the fabled hokage's. As the seemingly immortal guardian of the ninja world, he has gained knowledge of nearly every possible scenario and uses it to his advantage. He is described as calm, and he rarely displays emotions, making it difficult for others to tell what his thoughts or intentions are. people describe Caius as being like "the calm before the storm", that Caius may appear to be silent until he sees a weakness in his enemies, and once he does, he will expose it without mercy. Once Caius's goals are revealed, he becomes more emotional and filled with rage in his conviction, as he is ultimately a man consumed and driven by sorrow and anguish.

背景情報|Background Info
Born prior to the forming of Konoha village, Caius was a member of the senju clan, the famous clan of ninja only rivalled by the uchiha. The senju were led by a man named Hashirama, who was gifted with the secret wood release ninjutsu and thus able to create the village of Konoha. Caius was made an anbu member after killing an agent of Hashirama's anbu division by mistake, after which he assumed the role. One day, Caius was in a duel with a formidable fellow warrior of the senju. Overwhelmed by his opponent's strength and skill, Caius was driven back until an enemy army invaded Konoha looking for the hokage, interrupting the duel before the final blow could be dealt. In Hahirama's defense, Caius's opponent sacrificed himself to protect the kage.
Believing he should have been the one to die, Caius chose to honor the fallen warrior by taking on his last name, 'Ballad'. To protect Hashirama himself, Caius performed a demonic summon to destroy the enemy forces, a technique that was sealed in a scroll from the ancient days of the senju, it contained the true nature of the sage of the six paths eye technique and was developed as a last resort for when all else failed, for the eye technique also trapped the user in a form of torture, in the users mind he experiences endless scenario's that would take millenia of real life, a story each time of guarding his true love, but eventually she would fall in a million different ways, this was Caius curse, an apparent never ending cycle inside his mind, the elders of the village took him to a far away land of ice, sealing his body inside a block of enchanted ice and buried underground, hoping to prevent him aging while they searched for a way to break the genjutsu.
The village of Konoha was eventually destroyed and rebuilt time and again, Hokage's lived and died and the story of Caius Ballad was forgotten completely, until one day a dark shinobi by the name of Orochimaru sought Caius out, breaking him from the genjutsu through forbidden jutsu he sought to learn of the past from him, but the confused and shattered mind of Caius caused him to strike out, wounding Orochimaru severely he made his escape, his broken psyche pushing him forever on, still believing this an illusion Caius hunts for his true love, not knowing the ultimate torture of the genjutsu, was finally causing him to believe she existed to begin with, and to leave him hunting the world forever, in this life and the next.

Abilities
Caius is an extremely proficient fighter, relying on his skills with summoning techniques, his hand to hand and sword mastery and his favored element of lightning.
His strength and speed in close range combat and his actual reflex time is heightened compared to other ninja's of his own rank slightly, making up for his slight frame and lack of any real bloodline limit.
Also through long and ardous training he has practiced punching walls to the point where his taijutsu is capable of breaking walls of an equal rank with no damage to his hands.
His mastery of lightning allows him to use every and all lightning jutsu with a single handseal, additionally his lightning chakra is a purple color rather than the traditional colours for some unknown deus ex machina.
Caius was the first dragonslayer in known history, learning all he knows about the style from the chaos dragon himself Bahamut.
Caius has since developed Fuuinjutsu techniques based on the principles of the Dragon slayer taught to him by the pervy sage, he has several seals on his body including.

Description: Before the battle the user will have places 5 basic seals in their mouth/throat in preparation. Each of these seals will represent one of the 5 basic elements. In battle, when the user is about to be hit by one of the the 5 basic elements they will perform one handseal activating one of the chosen seals in their mouth as they breath in. In doing so, the element of the seal they activated will be sucking in and sealed into the seal in the users mouth. Much like how Jiraiya sealed Amaterasu. After having sealed the element, the user can then perform one handseal releasing that element from their mouth back at their opponent, in the form of a blast of that chosen element with no shape to it. An exampe of this jutsu would be if the opponent use a B rank fireball, just when it's about to hit the user, he will perform one handseal, activating the seal as he breathes in, as he does, the fireball will be sealed into the seal in the users mouth, without hurting the user. The user could then perform another handseal releasing the fireb back at the opponent as one big blast, the fireball would still be B rank. When the seal is activated, a mass of chakra is released out of the users mouth at high speed, similar to when jiraiya sealed amaterasu in a scroll, but faster. The element would be drawn into this chakra and sealed into the seal in the users mouth.
Note: Each seal can only be used once per battle.
