A funny thing to note. In NB, we use ranks as a way to classify jutsu's strength. In the Naruto anime, ranks are used to classify how difficult a jutsu is to perform, not it's strength necessarily. Also, the raiton does not lose it's strength. You don't need kage bunshin to perform the raiton bunshin. And you are correct, this is essentially what Killer B did to Kisame with the pencil that broke the tree. xD

(Raiton: Dai Denki hōden no Jutsu ) - Lightning Release: Large Electrical Discharge Technique
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: By Performing the ram hand seal the user will manipulate their chakra and they then raise their hand to the sky and an electrical discharge is triggered shocking the target.

(Raiton: Shuriken Seigyo no Jutsu) - Lightning Release: Shuriken Control Technique
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user will take out two large shuriken or Windmill Shuriken and channel their raiton chakra into them. They will then throw them at their target to pin them down and maintain a connection with the shuriken through a electrical cable that delivers a numbing shock to paralyse the target and restrict their movements.
Note: Numbing Effect lasts for one turn.

( Raiton: Rakurai Senkou ) - Lightning Release: Thunderbolt Flash
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user releases a current of purplish lightning from their hands forward, damaging and knocking away enemies. The range of this technique is, however, limited.

Ok simple technique. Form the hand seal, then raise your hand into the air. You will then discharge a thunderbolt upwards and it would come crashing down on the opposition, similar to fangs of lightning in a way.

Second jutsu is a combination of a nagashi and the d-rank ninjutsu using wire to control your shuriken. You would grab two windmill shuriken and throw them at your opponent, all the while having a connection with them via a raiton cable. Once pinned down from the shuriken, they would become paralyzed from all the lightning being conducted by the metal shuriken.

Simple tech. It's fast, and requires no hand seals. Simply release a purple current of lightning from your hands forward, and in turn, the current of raiton will knock away and damage your enemies drastically. Not a whole lot going on here, just note that the range is rather pathetic.

1. Technique Description: I assume this comes from the sky after you raise your hand towards the sky. You focus your chakra towards the sky and create a discharge at your enemy.

Advantages: It can shock your opponents creating an opening. The range allows for more flexibility in combat as well as conjunction with other jutsu.

Disadvantages: Electrical Discharges can be absorbed by a conductor like a sword or some other metal object. I assume it takes some time for it to activate so time could be an issue.

Apply Usage: I channel my chakra as I perform the ram handsign. Much like manipulating lightning, I release my chakra into the air to come down as electricity. (If I was right in my assumption, then it would spread through a wide area.

How To Counter: I would most likely use (Kenjutsu: Hirashin) - Sword Technique: Lightning Rod to attract the electricity since it seems to not be focused (at least under my assumption). I'm not familiar with other jutsu that can handle situations like that that would not end up harming me. Water could work against me, earth would be shattered, and fire would just go through. Wind could work but I don't know any wind techs yet and even if I did, I'm not sure there are any that could deal an Omnidirectional blast to dissipate the electricity.

Optimal Timing To Use: I don't know if this would work on the underground technique that everyone uses at some point. Using it conjunction with a water technique would work but it has to be timed correctly after so that the effect is improved.

Combination Strategies: I would use it with a large scale technique like Water Colliding Wave (the one tobirama uses in part 1). I don't know others yet that I could use with.

Questions: Does this cover a wide area? Is it like a bolt of lightning?

2. Technique Description: After pinning down the shuriken on your opponent, you release a surge of lightning, causing paralyzing/numbing effects on your enemy. The wire helps with maneuverability and for acting as a conduit.

Advantages: Paralyzing/Numbing effects from the lightning. Can manipulate the trajectory using the strings.

Disadvantages: The shuriken are quite large if I remember so use of the strings has to be almost precise. If the strings are cut you lose control of the shuriken.

Apply Usage: I throw two kunai with smoke bombs attached. One is thrown straight and the other at an angle above the enemy. Once they reach close to him I cause them to explode in a cloud of smoke, compromising his vision. I then throw the two giant shuriken with strings attached towards the direction of the target and move the strings slightly to move towards his back and and impale in his arms. Once I get a feel for the shuriken as they are lodged in, I channel my chakra into the strings and send forth electricity into them to cause paralyzation to my enemy.

How To Counter: Cut the strings or use a wind technique to blow them away and dissipate the lightning channeled to them.

Optimal Timing To Use: When your enemy is distracted or his vision compromised.

Combination Strategies: This would work well in conjunction with a smoke jutsu or mist technique.

Questions: Can you really move them (shuriken) as you please or would it follow some kind of logic?

3. Technique Description: You release a purple current of lightning forward toward your enemy. The resulting current will push away your enemy as well as cause damage. The damage sucks though.

Advantages: No handsigns and it's quite fast to use.

Disadvantages: The range is short and...I can't come up with another one. Sorry. z.z

Apply Usage: I channel my chakra towards my hands and while aiming directly at my enemy, I release the chakra in the form of purple lightning. The resulting current of lightning pushes my enemy back as well as cause some damage to his chest.

How To Counter: This seems like a more focused lightning so this can get tricky since I don't know many jutsu. There is a summoning ninjutsu dome that tenten summons that could help but don't think I could summon it in time since the lightning would be faster. A higher ranked earth wall could work as well as a strong water wall to absorb the lightning. Other than that, most wind jutsu could dissipate the attack.

Optimal Timing To Use: Considering it is short range, it is quite challenging to use a jutsu without any extra help to determine the attack as well as countering it time. The sharingan and byakugan work well to track it but not so well with reflexes if they don't have taijutsu as a specialty. It's even more tricky since most bios change so often so using the excuse that your character has seen it before. So basically, the best time to use it is with fire or while having your enemy distracted or vision compromised.

Combination Strategies: I'd like to use it with bomb tags but not sure it would work as I am thinking it should. Ninja wire or metal nets would work well as well as using a clone to combine it with a water technique.

Questions: Not at the moment.

Fantastic! o_o

To answer your first question, it's not a simple bolt of lightning, but a combination of multiple bolts of lightning, a surge of lightning resembles a nagashi but in a focused manner, i wouldn't say it covers a short range, but not a very big one either, the surge of lightning comes from above, the sky specifically, so you don't need an omni-directional defense to cover, just a simple C-ranked blast of wind would suffice, targeting the lightning coming from above.

Yes you can move the shuriken however you please, as long as you maintain a connection through the lightning "cable", but i should tell you this now, if you move the shuriken attacking a certain target, then the target form a technique to counter them, you can't make the shuriken move out of the way through controlling them, the lightning cables are vertical ones, not following any complex directions or movement, doing this would do two things. First you would be vulnerable to the technique coming your way, second it would be a timeframe break.

Anyway, i mentioned before that in the "Technique Description" part, you don't have to explain the technique, because i will be the one who will do that, all you need to do in that part is post the technique you are reviewing, that's all.

Next we have:

(Raiton: Purazuma Bōru) - Lightning Release: Plasma Ball
Rank: B
Type: Offensive, Defence
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20 (-5 per turn active)
Damage points: 40
Description: The user manipulating their chakra generates a plasma barrier around them to serve as a defence which protects them from incoming attacks, even from something as wide-ranged as the Quicksand Waterfall Flow. However the user cannot use other techniques besides lightning release or physical based techniques while sustaining the technique. The user can rush at their opponents even if the barrier is active and use it to ram against them. The shield can be used offensively, by discharging the electricity in the direction of their choice in a wave resulting in using the energy of the barrier and ending its effects.
Note: Technique remains active for 3 turns.

Quite a useful versatile technique, by manipulating your lightning chakra, you generate a plasma "lightning" barrier around yourself to serve as a defense, protecting you from incoming attacks, even wide ones due to it being an omni-directional defense, but since you have to constantly release lightning chakra in order to keep it active, you can't perform other techniques outside of lightning release or Taijutsu techniques as long as the barrier is still active. The barrier can be also used offensively in two ways, by running towards your opponent and hitting them directly with it, or discharging the electricity that forms the barrier in a wave of lightning towards your opponent, basically at short ranged distance, which would result in ending the barrier's effects and deactivates it. Once it is activated, it can remain active for 3 turns max, if you don't choose to deactivate it of course.

(Raiton: Kaminari no Shōgeki Ame) - Lightning Release: Lightning Shock Rain
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user manipulates their lightning chakra condensing into a orb of chakra and then releasing it into the air. The lightning orb will then remain in the air for several seconds releasing a continuous rain of lightning bolts shocking any enemy within the radius of the attack.
Note: Lasts only the turn in which its used.

Through manipulating lightning chakra to form an orb of condensed lightning energy, you release it into the air, and the lightning orb will then keep releasing a continuous rain of lightning bolts towards your desired target, it lasts only for one turn.

Technique Description: (Raiton: Kaminari no Shōgeki Ame) - Lightning Release: Lightning Shock Rain

Advantages: It travels with you which can then be used to ram into people in short range of yourself. Great one to use in tandem with taijutsu. I like that it can stay active for three turns if you wish which with the right strategy/jutsu could turn the tide in battle. I am also happy the defense is omni-directional which works against some jutsu that cover a wide range.

Disadvantages: The fact that you can't use anything other than Raiton and Taijutsu make it less appealing coupled with the fact it only works in short range. Not to mention you also have to maintain the barrier with your chakra which makes it tricky to use if you decide to keep it active. Good for close range fights but bad for mid-long range users.

Apply Usage: I channel my chakra from throughout my body and convert it to lightning-type chakra. I then push/generate it from my body, outwards, in the form of a electric plasma sphere that begins to grow in size but stops as soon as it reaches a small enough size for me to move around in it. Then to experiment with the technique, I then manipulate and discharge the electric sphere and send it forward in a wave towards a...let's say a training dummy. >.>

How To Counter: Wind and water seem a move viable option to use though once I get more training in wind I would probably use that more since it would dissipate the electricity better. I could send a water dragon jutsu to travel towards my target and at the same time electrocute him. I only worry that by the time I pull it off he might move out of the way or attack with another lightning jutsu. When compared to the speed of water, I would probably end up getting hit first.

I would definitely want to try a wind + water combo. The water would help electrocute him (I think) and the wind would make the water faster and stronger so it could cover a wide range which would cover your ass if he decides to use a wide range jutsu or another lightning technique.

Optimal Timing To Use: A short range burst would work in close range if you are using wind considering it is as the closest speed to lightning as you can get. As for water, I would have to do it from a distance since water is more generally slower than lightning.

Combination Strategies: I would definitely use this with Taijutsu or Lightning jutsus that work well with taijutsu. You could send the enemy up in the air, as you come down on him you perform this technique and crush him with electricity. I would try to make it as unpredictable as possible. I would hope that this works quite fast and can be used in the air like I mentioned.

Questions: Does this barrier dissipate when you attack your opponent with Taijutsu? I think I read that "However, if her electricity is drained, she cannot form the barrier and will be left vulnerable." I wonder if that applies to this technique and how would you go about it.

I couldn't find this technique anywhere so just going off what you and the jutsu description tell me. :(

Technique Description: (Raiton: Kaminari no Shōgeki Ame) - Lightning Release: Lightning Shock Rain

Advantages: This is nice to use around the first couple rounds in my opinion. You can use it to distract your opponent to whilst you go and try another jutsu...or at least I hope it works that way, if not then it's still good to use considering it can go up to mid-range which is good for people like me who like to keep their distance. I like that it last for one turn as that can keep your target preoccupied and annoyed at the same time.

Disadvantages: The only disadvantages I can note are the one turn that it lasts and that it won't start working until it is already in the air.. If it lasted longer you could exploit it with water jutsu and really push him to be on the defensive.

Apply Usage: I channel my chakra and focus it in my hand. As I release the chakra in my hand to create lightning, I condense it in an orb (similar to the rasengan) and once I feel it has reached an adequate state, I launch it into the air. I then motion it to begin to shoot lightning bolts towards the target I choose earlier. As the lightning bolts keep shooting I use a water imprisonment jutsu to cover and soak the target, making the lightning jutsu much more potent.

Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user creates a flow of gushing water under the opponent which traps them in a sphere of water. The user can perform an attack while the opponent is trapped. This jutsu is similar to Water Prison Technique, though the user doesn't need to keep his arm in the sphere of water.
Note: Technique creates its own water source

How To Counter: In battle it is always important to stay on the offensive so in this case, I would more than likely use the B-Ranked version of Water Release: Water Style Shock Wave since it creates a vortex of water around you and then goes forth and attacks the enemy. It's risky because once the vortex goes down, you are left open for the lightning bolts. If I decide to attack the orb, my enemy will take advantage of that and attack me. So I would have to use a jutsu that can deal with both of them whilst keeping me safe from the bolts. I would need to proceed more into my training in water and wind to figure out which to better use.

Forgot I have ninjutsu. >.>

I would use dome that defends against B-Ranks and below. Though I would have to be careful from attacks below me.

Optimal Timing To Use: I would probably use it before I use a water technique. The bolts keep shooting throughout the turn so eventually the two jutsu will synch and do some damage. Though from what I hear, it's better to use after you use a water technique as by then your enemy is soaked which works to add to the effects of the lightning.

Combination Strategies: If this worked up to long range I would have no problem but considering its only up to mid, I have to be careful not to use a powerful technique as I don't want to push him out of the range I need him from the lightning's reach. Gushing water imprisonment and water jutsu that confine would be a great one to use. Fire would be a good element to combine this with but not much of a fan of the jutsus we have on here and I don't have access to better customs. xD

Questions: Does the one turn mean the one after you activate it or the one you are using it in? How fast are these lightning bolts? How high up does the lightning orb go? Does it attack from an angle or straight down on me?

Okay, so those two are the last two you learned with Ryujin. Help me remember that we have to come back for this technique: ( Raiton: Fusei Shuriken Chidori Jutsu ) - Lightning Release: Rigged Shuriken One Thousand Birds Style, since it requires the Chidori. Anyway, now its the beginning of the A ranks (yay).

Anyway, my way of teaching is simple, I will explain the technique to you, then I want you to give me an analysis of the technique. This would include what you think about it, its strengths and weaknesses, how you'd ideally use it in battle etc. Feel free to write wallies, I'll read it all. You don't have to use a template style of answering, you can just write in a block, or a paragraph, or however you feel comfortable.

Rank: A
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: After performing the required hand seals Monkey → Ox → Boar → Tiger the user releases a discharge of electricity that shapes itself into several destructive disks of lightning. These are shot at the targets with great speed.

Starts off by forming the Monkey → Ox → Boar → Tiger hand seals, and then manipulating your Lightning chakra. You will discharge some Lightning, which has no shape, until you use shape manipulation to form them into several disks of Lightning, which are shot towards the opponent. I usually compare this technique to a similar technique that Krillin used, from DBZ. Anyway, its a very straightforward technique, and the amount of hand seals are its downfall. Pretty cool for covering a wide range though.

(Raiton: Raisogekishin) - Lightning Release: Lightning Rat Violent Quake

I hate that when they show it in the anime, it is like so short it's easy to miss for people like me with trigger fingers. xD

But from the short bit I was able to see, Nigai made the handseals as he gathered chakra. Then when he discharged the lightning, some of it formed into disks and spread in what looks like a fan-like degree. But despite what I had been told, this jutsu appears to not have a focused trajectory. In other words, parts of the lightning that is released is made into disks which almost give you the impression of shuriken when spinning. Their trajectory didn't seem to be aimed anywhere specific. That leads me to believe that even though the user can transform part of the lightning into disks, he can't control them. It's more of a defensive technique to try to either single out someone when their location isn't known or to attack opponents when they are too close. It's a nice jutsu but not one I would use when I know my target and need to hit him directly.

As far as using it, it would be ideal for situations that involve genjutsu and I am not being paralysed. By utilizing it, I can make the assumption if the jutsu hit, made any damage, and how it affected the environment. It would have more better usage without the handseals or if you specialize in lightning, at least you can tone it down to one handseal.

Alright, that's good. Here you go.

Rank: A
Type: Offense
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description: The user must first perform the following sequence of hand seals Ox → Rabbit → Monkey → Dragon → Rat → Bird → Ox → Snake → Dog → Tiger → Monkey and they will then focus lightning chakra into their hand to create a lightning jutsu that is concentrated in the user's palm and thrusted toward the opponent at high speed. The lightning in the user's palm sounds like birds chirping, hence the name, and allows the user to perform high grade cutting damage or high penetration piercing thrusts.
Note: Someone who mastered lightning release can perform chidori with just the Ox hand seal.
Note: Uchiha Sasuke and Kakashi Hatake bios can use the technique without handseals

Next we got the Chidori, a technique you are supposed to have if you declare yourself a Kakashi fan >_>. Form the Ox → Rabbit → Monkey → Dragon → Rat → Bird → Ox → Snake → Dog → Tiger → Monkey hand seals and manipulate your Lightning based chakra with great precision. You will focus it to your dominant hand, which causes the chirping sound that the Chidori is known for. You will then strike the opponent with the charged hand, which is capable of busting through an opponent with ease due to its high piercing damage. Best to use it when you got Lightning mastered, since you can then just use with the Ox hand seal. Sasuke and Kakashi can use it without hand seals, by the way.

(Raiton: Chidori) - Lightning Release: One Thousand Birds

Ah I've been counting the days till I could learn this. T^T

Based on its history and description, I would treat this like a rasengan. Though not as compressed, it is still highly concentrated. I was confused as to how it actually worked once it was created. You know, whether the user used a palm strike, thrust, or punch. The description alludes to a "piercing thrust" but I don't know how that is possible if it is concentrated on the palm and not the fingertips. The only one's that I know that can do that is Lightning Cutter and the Third Raikage's Finger strikes. Like I said earlier, i'll treat it like a rasengan in which you strike like you are holding an orb.

Anyways, the discharge of lightning seems to propel the user forward. Perhaps as the excess lightning strikes it acts as a sort of ignition but that is debatable because Kakashi and Sasuke had different speeds considering they were both at around same age when they first used it. The lightning itself has the properties of electrocuting the target if the user decides not to use it as a thrust which could result in killing the opponent.

The drawback to using it is that while in the course of approaching the target, it creates a sort of "tunnel vision" making it hard keep track of movements outside your line of sight. This is remedied with the aid of any of the three dōjutsu that aids in tracking speeds higher than oneself. From my perspective it would appear that the sharingan would be a much better choice since as the sharingan evolves, so does the user's perception of motion and their ability to see chakra (though not as detailed as the byakugan).

Side Note: I love how Sasuke and Kakashi can use this with no handseals. <3

Good job, nice analysis. Let's move on o-o.

Rank: A
Type: Offense/Defence
Range: Short (Mid if channeled through a medium)
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: N/A (+10 if used to boost weapon damage)
Description: This jutsu allows the user to generate non-focused electricity from their body. It can be used as an omnidirectional attack or be channeled through weapons, the ground or other conductive mediums. Because the electricity isn't focused, it doesn't kill on contact, instead it has great numbing and paralyzing effects. To channel Nagashi through a medium, the user needs to focus the technique into one of his hands which will then be put in contact with the medium and can only choose to either do a widespread attack throughout his whole body or to channel it into something; he cannot achieve both usages at the same time. Despite not having much destructive or damaging properties, Nagashi can be used to destroy low rank earthen and wooden structures and even negate chakra on the ground to stop high ranked earth and wood techniques. It has also been noted that Lightning Specialists that have mastered Lightning to the highest degree can resist total paralyzation, although they still feel the pain and numbing effects.
Note: Paralyzation lasts 1 turn if sucessful but is ineffective against bios who have a primary Lightning Specialty

The first variation of Chidori, and probably one of the more overused techniques around. You will perform the technique by simply focusing a large amount of Lightning based chakra, and channel it throughout your body. This allows you to release it from a lot of your tenketsu in the form of a non-focused electricity. Now, the Nagashi can be used in either one of two ways.

1. To channel it through a medium, the Lightning has to be focused to one of your hands, and then placed on the medium you want to channel it through like the ground or any conductive medium. The electricity isn't focused, so it causes some numbing and paralyzing effects.

2. Or, you can release from your body like I explained above. This is usually the one used to break Genjutsu techniques, or to strike people who get too close to you.

Anyway, something to note is that only one of the two usages can be achieved at one time. The first usage reaches up to Mid range, and the other one up to Short range. The Nagashi is also capable of destroying low ranking Earth and Wood techniques, and negate chakra of higher ranking ones, to stop the technique (not destroy it, meaning they would just stop emerging/growing). Also, if the opponent has Primary Lightning Specialty, they resist the paralyzation but feel slight pain and numbing. The paralyzation generally lasts 1 turn.

(Raiton: Chidori Nagashi) - Lightning Release: One Thousand Birds Current

It's interesting that this jutsu now allows me to better understand Chidori. I didn't consider Chidori being utilized from one's tenketsu. This helps explain how Chidori itself works or at least in my opinion. Before I had mentioned that I considered the technique itself to be like a rasengan, well, I was both right and wrong. I considered it to be a sphere that originates from the palm like this:

You must be registered for see images
What I didn't take into account is how electricity runs through the body like this, creating the foundation of chidori and other lightning techniques that originate from the user's body:

You must be registered for see images
For me that now explains how Sasuke/Kakashi can do thrusts with their hands using chidori and how eventually Kakashi used the same concept but on a more refined level, creating what we know as Raikiri.

Back to Chidori Nagashi, by using the same concept of releasing the electricity that is present in the body and enhancing it using chakra, it's like a tesla coil but more widespread. You know if someone was smart enough they could make a sound jutsu using lighting this way. That's according to what I saw from the Socerer's Apprentice in which David used coils to send lightning/electrical bolts between each other creating sound. He explains it better than I do.

He also gives one of the most nerdiest, corny lines to a girl. xD

One thing I am curious about is it says it negates higher ranked techniques despite being A-Rank in itself. Strange.

What level of genjutsu can it actually break and anything I should know concerning using this for breaking genjutsu?

Right. Not really "higher ranking" techniques per se. The technique doesn't carry any destructive properties, so it destroys lower ranking Earth and Wood (say, up to B rank), and negates chakra in higher ranking ones (say A rank, to S rank due to elemental strengths and weaknesses). It still stands that Lightning is stronger to Wood and Earth, even in its unfocused state.

As for Genjutsu, I actually started explaining this recently because I noticed how very few people are actually told about it (myself included, when I was trained). Nonetheless, Chidori Nagashi is capable of breaking Genjutsu up to B rank. This is because its an elemental technique, which is classified as a Chakra Surge. This is because it utilizes a large amount of tenketsu when used, which forces the chakra system to be reset, and thus, breaking the Genjutsu. Elemental chakra surges can break one rank below its own rank (A rank Nagashi breaks up to B rank and below Genjutsu, and an S rank Hardening Technique would be able to break up to A rank and below Genjutsu etc). Hence why its impossible to use a chakra surge to break a Forbidden ranked Genjutsu, cause then you'd need a sruge more powerful than Forbidden rank lmao. The same law applies to Gentle Fist, and chakra surges which delve into raw chakra, it has to be 2 ranks higher than the Genjutsu it wants to break >,> Anyway, that's Genjutsu training xd Let's move on, my friend.

Rank: A
Type: Attack
Range: Short – Mid
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: After performing a small sequence of 3 hand seals the user will place their hand on the ground converting their chakra in to lightning. The user then sends an enormous bolt of electricity that cuts through the ground in the direction of the enemy. The shape of the bolt is a triangular with the base in the direction of the user and the tip headed towards the target. It causes devastating destruction on its way and generates enough heat and power to destroy whatever it comes into contact with.

After the formation of three hand seals, you will place your dominant hand onto the ground. You will the manipulate your Lightning based chakra, and charge it into the ground. This creates an enormous bolt of electricity, that blasts through the ground towards the opponent. Its formed like a triangle, if you were to view from above, with the base as the point of where you place your hand, and the tip heading towards the opponent. Its extremely powerful, and great to use against an oncoming fast opponent. Also, Illuminati confirmed. Y_Y

(Raiton: Ikazuchi Hakai) – Lightning Release: Lightning Destruction

I couldn't really find the jutsu for this one so going to have to base everything on what the description says.

This one is interesting because instead of just releasing it straight like almost all lightning jutsu, this one requires that you release your chakra through the ground. The lightning tearing through the ground should cause debris to shoot everywhere, obscuring both you and your enemy's field of vision. I assume that due to the rank, the lightning speeds forward with enough power to be able to break earthen structures. I would think it can also affect the ground for people using Hiding like a mole technique considering you are channeling and releasing your lightning-natured chakra into it.

As far as weaknesses, it seems that it travels a straight line rather than erratic movements like Chidori Nagashi or Lightning Rat Violent Quake. So when using it, one needs to consider where they are aiming at and what jutsu they use it with. It would be a logical to use:

(Doton: Ganchūsō) - Earth Release: Stone Spikes
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: This technique lets the user create a few rock pillars that will protrude from the ground to skew the target. The rock pillars will even pass through obstacles to reach their target if these are less dense. The pillars/spikes can be done in any earthen surface, including other earth techniques of the user.
With this technique. Send the rock formations first, an attack from above, and the lightning destruction last. Why last? Because more than likely, if not countering directly, the user will try to escape by going underground. Considering this can break through rock (assuming at this point) then you pretty much catch the enemy offguard or force him to perform a certain technique. By forcing his hand, you can then control the tide of battle by knowing what your enemy will be doing ahead of time.

If you think I misunderstood this earth jutsu wrong please let me know. ;~;

Your first image is right, the second would be more "flat" in a sense, when viewed from the side. Remember, I never watched the anime, so I could be wrong but it simply makes more sense. Nonetheless, great job xD I am glad you got it.

Rank: A
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Mid
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description: The user reshapes the Chidori in their hand into the form of countless senbon which are shot with a simple hand movement towards the target. The senbons are extremely precise and have the same numbing and paralyzing effects as Chidori, carrying enormous speed. Because the technique requires no handseals and is done with simple hand movements, its extremely hard to avoid while in short range and quite dangerous to counter due to the precision attacks it can be used to perform.

Another Chidori variation. If they weren't so useful, I'd get gassed. Nonetheless, a very useful one where you will form the Chidori in your dominant hand, and then use shape manipulation to form the focused Lightning into countless senbon. These are released towards the opponent with simple hand movements, and due to the speed they are released, they are deadly in close range. They have numbing and paralyzing effects of Chidori Nagashi. Best to use when the opponent is close, and there is no time for hand seals.

Oh, almost forgot this other technique that we had to cover from B ranks.

Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user will utilize a large shuriken and channel a chidori into it. The user will then throw the shuriken charged with chidori towards the opponent resulting in paralysing them on impact. (paralysis lasts for 1 turn)
Note: Must Know Chidori

The technique is simple. When holding a large shuriken in your dominant hand, you will channel a Chidori into it, and then launch it towards the opponent. If struck, the opponent would be paralyzed for a single turn. Pretty useful, since it can both severely cut the opponent, and paralyze them.

A large factor that made this jutsu very deadly is the fact that when it is combined with the sharingan's perception of motion, it allows the user a more precise aim. After understanding the fundamentals of the chodori itself, the lightning that is then created is divided into countless senbon. Although someone without a doujutsu can aim correctly, it becomes harder as more targets approach you and you try to hit each one individually.

i.e When Deidara attacks Sasuke with his c1 spiders .

Once the senbon come in contact with the enemy or certain objects, along with the piercing lightning, it also induces paralyzation/numbness. This creates a window of opportunity like you said, when used in short range. When used in combination with other jutsu it really is a wonderful. If I could use it with any jutsu, I would aim for something from genjutsu. If not, then fire/smoke for sure.

One thing I noticed is the senbon seem to follow a linear trajectory and can stay "actively embedded" in the target. Unless my eyes decieve me, the same anime episode I linked you above, shows the spider's still with the senbon in them after Sasuke was doing other stuff. I don't know. Tell me what you think about that and if its feasible to still remain active in the battlefield.

Oh! I has some questions master-sensei. O_O

If you shoot these senbon at, let's say a water wall or earth wall, it can continue through it no? Or would the power/speed be reduced? Also, would a similar/lower/higher ranked wind technique dissipate the senbon?

An excerpt from my sharingan training to explain the perception of the sharingan.
The two tomoe is an advanced version of the 1t stage of the sharingan. It:

- Perceives motion: The definition for perceive is to "become aware or conscious of (something); come to realize or understand." What this means is once the user activates his sharingan, he is able to notice things he never noticed before and in this case its movements in his environment. Regarding his opponent, the user can see their movements and using his inherent deductive abilities, determine what he will most likely counter with. Normally humans with high intellect can deduce as such but with the sharingan, it becomes much more clear like when you put on prescription glasses/contacts for the first time. It allows you a greater depth of detail that you can then use to your advantage. As the sharingan stage evolves, the depth of detail you are perceiving allows you to make better decisions because now your line of sight is in tune with your mental capacity.

- Sees chakra: I always had a hard time understanding the difference in chakra vision between the sharingan and the byakugan. But the more I studied the more I became aware and understood how it worked. From my opinion, being able to see chakra isn't something you immediately see. I believe that in order to "see" chakra, you have to make a mental effort to focus on entering a "state of enlightenment". In the series, it was shown as everything being dark and the user being able to see chakra in and around the opponent. It makes sense as it would be quite counterproductive to see a black environment and only the opponents chakra. It should be noted though that the chakra you are able to see isn't as detailed as you would see with the byakugan or rinnegan. It's more like seeing the volume of chakra in the form of a flame. The more the user channels/summons, the bigger the flame grows, allowing you to determine the state of the user and the quality of the technique being used/created.

The ability to track speeds higher than yourself, whether they be ninjutsu or taijutsu, and being able to "pierce" visual genjutsu all coincide with the user's increase in perception. Of course they all at some point will require the proper technique to activate, it still is based on the user's skill with his sharingan.

(Raiton: Fusei Shuriken Chidori Jutsu) - Lightning Release: Rigged Shuriken One Thousand Birds Style
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user will utilize a large shuriken and channel a chidori into it. The user will then throw the shuriken charged with chidori towards the opponent resulting in paralysing them on impact. (paralysis lasts for 1 turn)
Note: Must Know Chidori

By the word rigged I thought it meant being pulled by a string but it seems like not. Still can do it though but meh.

This one is interesting because considering the abilities of the chidori attached to it, it should be able to travel faster, cause more damage, and impart numbness/paralyzation. This one is pretty straight forward and considering how shuriken work there should be nothing more than needs be said.

One thing though that I am wondering is if you attach a ninja wire to it and channel the chidori through it would it still count as this jutsu or would you have to post the chidori instead? Oh and can the paralyzation be avoided/nulled if you have lightning as a specialty?

Many questions lol. First, they last for the turn they are used.

If you shoot these senbon at, let's say a water wall or earth wall, it can continue through it no? Or would the power/speed be reduced? Also, would a similar/lower/higher ranked wind technique dissipate the senbon?

It follows the same rules as the Chidori Nagashi. Due to their small size, these senbon are not ideal for breaking through Earth walls, and stuff though lower ranking ones (say C rank) could be broken due to elemental interactions. Its speed would reduced for sure. Wind just follows the normal elemental interactions against the senbon, though do take into consideration size/logic of Wind vs these small senbon.

One thing though that I am wondering is if you attach a ninja wire to it and channel the chidori through it would it still count as this jutsu or would you have to post the chidori instead? Oh and can the paralyzation be avoided/nulled if you have lightning as a specialty?

If you use the wire and shuriken in free form, and then channel chidori into it, then you have to post chidori. And no, it doesn't state anything about it, so one can't assume.

A lovely technique, where you will simply concentrate a large amount of Lightning chakra into your dominant hand. You will then use shape manipulation, to form this unfocused Lightning into a ball of Lightning, which you can then throw towards the opponent, or thrust it forward in close combat. Once it hits its intended target, it will expand into a massive Lightning explosion.

(Raiton: Sanda Appu) – Lightning Release: Thunder Up

I like this one. You can pretend it's a rasengan and throw it. Sort of like being Boruto. ;_;

In all seriousness, I like that once it hits it can expand into an explosion. Would it be safe to assume that even if you don't hit your opponent, if he is within the radius of the impact then he'll get caught in the explosion?

There are some concerns I have about the technique though. Considering how lightning is a fast element itself, I assume that charging it in your hand takes almost no time at all? You also should be weary about how close you use considering the explosion that happens afterward. I'd say that with tact, you can use this on a source of water or at someone who is in contact with a source of water. I think it would be nice to throw this towards your target after obscuring their vision or compromising it with like a circle of fire. By itself though, I like the range but I am more likely to use this from a distance rather than short range. You know I was thinking in that once the explosion sets in you could use a binding technique to take advantage of their momentary preoccupation.
