[Question] Byakuya's "death"

Everyone keeps mentioning his death and what not. What am I missing? Wasn't he taken to the palace with whats her face, renji, and ichigo to be healed?

Yes, he's most likely going to survive until the end of the war.

He is not dead, he was severely mortally wounded in the major battle against the Quincy's and standard kido healing wouldnt heal his major life threatening wounds. They took him to upper SS with Zero Squad and both Byakuya and Rukia are healing in the hot springs.

Everyone wish he died, that was the main turning point for most of Kubo's fans when he made it so dramatic it was felt to be believe Byakuya was going to be another worthy death in bleach. But nope Kubo kept him alive for some reason and i heard losts of fans stopped reading bleach. i keep reading because i hate not finishing a good storyline.

Agree, Byakuya is just too badass to be killed by one ugly-eyes Quincy XD I think that the reason why Kubo didn't killed him was because of Yamamoto and Unahana. If he died along with them, then SS would be much weaker than it's already, and wouldn't stand a chance at winning against Yhwach and his Quincy army.
