Ukitake and Shunsui wins this. When it comes to these two together, only a couple of characters can beat them together.

The question is a joke . Shunsui's shikai is more than enough to finish Byakuya .

ukitake and Shunsui are the strongest captains in the entire series and still we don't see their full powers yet.

So what ? He still has no chance against Shunsui's Shikai . Shunsui will be only person who can beat Zaraki without a bankai i can tell you with this confidence .

hinestly, the things we have seen from these 2 aren't that impressive. shunsui couldn't beat stark even with the help of ukitaki. byakuya has trained with the royal guard now. as far as we know, he just took out 3 star knights without using bankai. those other 2 have done absolutely nothing this entire arc. untill these 2 do something worth while, i'll go with byakuya. shunsui got an eye taken out by "N", who byakuya took out with 2 other star knights. just saying.

Agreed, people underestimate byakuya. With the feats he has shown after royal guard he should be stronger than or equal to them both individually at this point.

But people side with shunsui and Ukitake because of hax and not gone all out. But in actuality we haven't seen all Byakuya can do as well.

I'd say both teams can win, but both will do so with very high diff.

Ukitake's Shikai doesn't mean anything against Senbonzakura, since it absorbs and redirects energy based attacks. Which means Kido isn't really an option for Byakuya. Shunsui will be doing most of the fighting, with Ukitake being support.

Lol shikai kyoraku can beat zaraki without bankai when he struggled against OMQ someone much weaker than zaraki an bykuya soloed OMQ an 4 more Quincy all together an you think kyoraku can beat Byakuya aswell lol wow just wow...Byakuya wins off feats.

It is evidenced by their fight vs stark and if they continued a 2v1 their teamwork would beat him with low diff still using shikai. They would destroy Byakuya 2v1. And 1v1 is like I said. Byakuya got feats and Kyoraku/Shunsui got all the hype. Remember they have a bankai too.

One Shunsui and Ukitake were also going easy on Stark and being just as carefree as he was. Stark was handling things well because there was no pressure being put on him in the first place.

Secondly Byakuya used Bankai against the 5 SR as you could not see the hilt of his blade..... Hence Bankai was already activated before the fight even began.
