So how about byakuya?
Since he is the boss for Renji, he should be more powerful right?


Which more probably power up for byakuya.

Option A
Getting new asauchi/zanpakutou . In the future he will have 2 bankai. Like ichigo having 2 zanpakutou where 2 different bankai.

Option B
Stick to his original sembon Sakura, and getting his true bankai name.
Getting power up like Renji.

byakuya himself stated to ichigo that the dome with the swords around it was the true form of his bankai. from what i understood so is kubo throws that out the window he will truly contradict a lot of things he has told us.

so i don't see his bankai changing at all and they could not train him with a new asauchi to attain bankai fast enough and better then his previous imo so really his powers will just be topped up a bit.

If byakuya truth bankai so easy to handle that even th Quincy minor could do it, I doubt that why soul king chose him.

They should choose captain commander Yamamoto to come for training instead byakuya.

Byakuya is going to get more powerful, certainly. He's going to get more spiritual pressure and perhaps some new techniques, but the fundamentals of senbon zakura will stay the same.

Kubo is redesigning Bankai's, if he hasn't gotten his bankai back from the hollowfying candy... They might make him a new sword, and a newly forged sword might have different look now due to training, and healing effecting his soul power.

I feel like the bath in the hot springs, along with the spiritual pressure food that they ate is enough to boost him, and anything else is a bonus. Senbonzakura actually respects Byakuya, so I highly doubt it would lie about its name. Renji at this point might be equal, but that's before the boost from the springs and the food, which imo definitely increase power by a lot.
