Looks Byakuya has slate gray eyes(only white while in Byakugan mode) and long black hair, which he keeps up in intricate white headpieces called kenseikan that symbolize his nobility as part of the main branch of the Hyuga clan, wearing one on top of his head and another on the right side. He wears a modified version of Hyuga robes along with a white scarf made a master weaver. The scarf is made from the silver-white, windflower light silk (ginpaku kazahana no uzuginu) and is a family heirloom that is handed down from generation to generation and is given to each first born male of the Main branch of the family. The scarf alone is worth ten Hokage mansions. He also wears fingerless white tekkou that covers only the back of his hands. | Personality As a part of the main houshold of the Hyuga clan, Byakuya acts in an aristocratic manner. He always seems serene and apathetic towards other people, even while actually deeply conflicted. He is also notably calm, even in battle. He generally acts indifferent, bordering on arrogance, to most situations that he is faced with as shown from how he rarely views his opponent as being worth his time. Byakuya is easily offended if his name is not used properly. As such, he views many people in disdain for always referring to him improperly. When Byakuya talks to people, he calls them by their full name. Byakuya is very perceptive and is fully aware of the limits of his abilities and usually anything he states in comparison to an opponent is justified. However, when he was younger, he was quick to anger and very hot-headed, as noted by his grandfather. Byakuya strongly believes in law and order. As part of one of the great noble families, he works hard for a peaceful society. He feels that if someone in his position does not follow the rules as a good example, no one else will. He also believes that to maintain the order, all law-breakers must be punished, even if it goes against his own wishes. Byakuya feels that "part of a leaders's responsibilities are to make sure the subordinate's responsibilities are taken care of". In spite of his icy and regal manner, Byakuya cares for and protects those important to him. After the events of the Uchiha incident, he admitted that law isn't perfect and became more lenient towards people. |

Byakuya was born into the main branch of the Hyuga family and grew up in the Hyuga mansion in Hidden Leaf. He would spend countless hours training, in preparation to take over the leadership of the Hyuga family that was until Hinata Hyuga was born. As kids Rodukaime Namikaze and Teno would often visit the Hyuuga manor to play a game of tag with Byakuya. On one such occasion, about the time he was 9 years old, Byakuya was sent to learn Gentle Fist and how to properly use his Byukagan by the Hyuga Elder. Upon seeing the arrival of the elder, he attacked and insulted him calling him an old bag of bones. The elder playfully began to tease him, complaining about his greeting after he came all the way there to personally him. Byakuya expressed his displeasure at seeing him and stated that he would be the head of the Hyuga clan soon enough, so he has no time to waste on "ancient relics' like him. After the elder stole his hair tie, he exclaimed that if the head of Hyuga clan could get his hair tie stolen by an "ancient relic" man, then he would worry about its future. He then uses his superior speed to escape from him, leaving an angry Byakuya to claim his superiority and promise to make him see the error of his ways. When Byakuya turned 12 the 9 tails attacked the village and caused complete chaos prompting Byakuya to leave the village. Byakuya was in search of a new home and found a new village called Sunagakure. Byakuya used to go on very dangerous missions with his close friends, Teno, and Rodukaime Namikaze to capture fugitives from the hidden Sand and return them to the village and kill any traitors if necessary. He usually stands and watches as his comrades attack and he scans the area for any traps or ambushes. While in the Hidden sand he made a close connection with villagers such as Zoro.., Gaara, Rexii, and more. But due to the lack of excitement and structure in the village he left and went and applied for Kirigakure.  After leaving the Hidden Sand Village Byakuya was allowed to join the Hidden Mist Village and join their ranks and met more people whom he became close to such as; Rebon, Melizzle, Omnom, Johninto Uchiha, and more. The environment in Kiri was peaceful, no one attacked, and no one invaded. The lack of fighting and action almost drove Byakuya insane so he left in search of a new home. After leaving the Hidden Mist Village Byakuya decided to give the village life style one last try and joind the Hidden Cloud Villag. As a member there he was included in a number of village activities such as becoming apart of numerous groups and forming 'Kumo's 3 musketeers" with Dm 1202, and Gecko, as well as "Kumo's Snake Bro's" with Better. Now that he has adjusted to the life and rules of Kumo he plans on staying there for the rest of his ninja career. While in Kumo he is regarded by many in the village as the best Byakugan user of the village and would do anything to keep that title. What drives Byakuya to protect Kumo is the new found friendships he has found such as Necron, Asuna who wants Byakuyas title as the best Hyuga in the village, Igneel, Akagemi Shanks who Byakuya constantly calls "Kamui", Seblax, and many more. Byakuya is very close to his fellow villagers and would give his life to protect them. During his time in Kumo he defended his village from attackers such as Konoha ninja, Suna ninja, and even was included in an assault on Ame. As Byakuya felt he had done all he could in Kumo he left on good terms returning to the Hidden Sand Village. While his old village is i fact in a drought he plans on doing all he can to uplift the youngsters in the village and bring up Sunas millitary strength. Byakuya managed to uplift the Sunagakure ninja spirits and returned to his old home in Kumogakure. As Byakuya traveled back to the Hidden Cloud Village he encountered a near death teen about to be executed. Byakuya dispatched of the Kiri ninja and took the teen to a nearby village for treatment. As the teen awoke he questioned Byakuya about his motive for saving him in which Byakuya responded "Your still a kid your fighting abilities must be top tier to take out all those Kiri ninja*. Byakuya somehow convinced the teen to join Kumo and Byakuya has since become a part of Kumogakures Borderland Squad. |

Abilities Hyuga Clan Techniques As a member of the Hyūga clan, Byakuya possesses the Byakugan, a dōjutsu kekkei genkai which grants him near-360° vision, along with x-ray vision, nearly and ability to see chakra networks amongst other things. The Byakugan however, does have a small blind spot located at the third upper thoracic vertebrae — a weakness of which Byakuya is actually aware of and takes extra precaution in concealing it from opponents. Byakuya is able to increase his visual range to at least 20 kms in one direction and 300 meters all around Gentle Fist: As a member of the Hyūga clan, Byakuya specialises in close-range, taijutsu combat. Byakuya's fighting style is the signature style of his clan, the Gentle Fist, which takes advantage of the Byakugan's insight into people's chakra pathway system. Gentle Fist allows for severe internal trauma with minimal external force as it relies on surgical injection of chakra into an opponent's chakra pathway system. As Byakuya's Byakugan is stronger than most, and is able to see special nodes on the chakra network, called tenketsu, Byakuya can use Gentle Fist to not only damage opponents, but control their chakra flow as well. Using the Gentle Fist, Byakuya can affect internal organs, and is capable of killing an opponent with a single strike should he aim to harm the heart. Training in the Gentle Fist style implies superior chakra regulatory control and mastery of the human chakra network. As a result, Byakuya can eject chakra from any tenketsu in his body as a means to slow or impede incoming projectiles. Continuously maintaining this expulsion of chakra allows Byakuya create a sensory barrier around himself to detect anything that enters his immediate area, making up for the Byakugan's blind spot, although it rapidly depletes his chakra reserves. Byakuya has a really strong willpower and carries the will of Lightning inside from his very proud village of Kumogakure. Having such strong will means that in a fight, small injuries are not enough to stop him. His will to live for and be recognized and protect the village is a very great deal, it has helped him many times in fights. Byakuya has the Curse Seal of Earth on his left shoulder. When activated in its level 1 state his speed and strength increase as well as gaining hooking swirl tattoos all around his body. While in his level 2 form the previous black markings glow almost like fire and grow covering his body completely. As the transformation ends, his skin gains a grayish tone. The Sclera of his eyes become black and his eyes turn completely black while his Byakugan is active giving off a more sinister look. Also while transformed into level 2 Byakuyas nails extend to about an inch long and become razor sharp. His hair becomes spiked and a tad bit longer to his waist. Byakuya grows a pair of wings from his back which are the same grayish tone as his skin. The wings resemble that of a demon wings giving him the ability to fly and sustain flight. He also grows a tail which he is able to freely manipulate. He rarely uses his Curse Mark and feels only its use is only worthy for a select few to see. (Chi no Juin: Ichi) - Earth's Cursed Seal: Level 1 Rank : A Type: Supplementary/Defense Range: Short Chakra: 30 (-10 to user per turn) Damage: N/A Description:The user wills the opening of the cursed seal partially, giving him more chakra and more strength, as the Senjutsu Chakra contained within the seal is unleashed upon the users body in a reduced amount. Patterned red lines that extend from the Cursed Seal on the body of the user course through the user's body, covering it in a repetitive pattern as their body surges with chakra. When the state it done, the lines will become a solid black. While active, the seal actively consumes the users chakra in order to produce and fuel Senjutsu Chakra into his body. While in this stage the user gains +5 damage to his elemental Ninjutsu and +10 to his Taijutsu. His physical strength is improved as is his speed. Note: Lasts for 5 turns. Note: Can be deactivated at will. Note: Usable once (Chi no Juin: Ni) - Earth's Cursed Seal: Level 2 Rank : S Type: Supplementary/Defense Range: Short Chakra: 40 (-15 to user per turn) Damage: N/A (-10 to user per turn) Description: After opening the first level of the seal, the user forcefully opens the seal completely, unleashing the full extent of Senjutsu Chakra contained in it which floods his body. Because this Senjutsu Chakra is raw and is fueled by the enzymes extracted from Jugo's DNA, the user will experience a physical transformation unique to him. As the seal opens, the previous black markings glow almost like fire and grow covering the user completely. As the transformation ends, his skin gains a grayish tone, his sclera becomes black and his eyes change in shape. The transformation is unique from user to user but always has some animalistic feature to it. While active, the seal actively consumes the users chakra in order to produce and fuel Senjutsu Chakra into his body.While in this stage the user gains +10 damage to his elemental Ninjutsu and +20 to his Taijutsu. His physical strength is improved as is his speed. Once it deactivates (regardless of being willed or timing out) it leaves the user drained of stamina for 3 turns as well as unable to mold chakra above B-Rank or use Taijutsu above D-Rank for 3 turns. His speed drops drastically (2 ranks) as the damage and pain produced by the stress on his body overcomes the user. After those 4 turns, the user regains some of his ability to mold chakra, with each turn increasing by one the rank of chakra he can mold. His physical penalties however aren't recovered unless the user is healed. Note: Lasts for 4 turns. Note: Must be in stage 1 to use. Note: Can be deactivated at will. Note: Can only be used once. (Ten to Chi Juin: Bubun Henkan) - Heaven and Earth's Cursed Seal: Partial Transformation Rank: B Type: Supplementary/Defense Range: Short Chakra Cost: 20 (-5 to sustain) Damage Point: N/A Description: Aside from the first and second levels of the seal, skilled users of the seal are able to perform partial transformations enabling the user to transform a part or parts of their body into the form it bares while under the full transformation of Cursed Mark Level 2. This is accomplished by partially mastering the spreading of the Senjutsu Chakra released from the cursed mark and enabling it to effectively only affect one area of the body. While in this state, half of the user's face becomes grayed according to the side of the body that the user transforms their body. While within this state, the user is not granted the power boosts of either of the cursed levels. This technique is only used to grant the user extra appendages for a duration of time. Note: Must possess Cursed Seal Level 2. Note: Lasts for 2 turns. Note: Can be deactivated at will. Note: User is limited to transform one leg or one arm or his torso or his head and the transformation always spreads from the seal towards the users desired body part. Note: Usable 3 times per match if he hasn't yet used Level 1 or 2 of the cursed mark. |
