The question I want answered is that can Tsunade re-grow a severed head?

Severed Head=Instant Death=Immediate loss of all chakra in the body.

Tsunade is not so fast and linear; alot of people can simply dodge. Sure Tsunade can tank moves but we saw that it still causes her great pain and creates openings as we saw in the fight with Madara and the Kages. She tanked susanoo swords but still coughed up blood and collapsed.

You might as well ask 'can Hashirama Senju grow his severed head'. Answer that, and you'll find your answer regarding Tsunade.

IMO that whole thing reforming the side and the limb is possible because she said she can regen limbs and organs in that side we have the lungs and such I don't see why not. Again this would be taxing on her reserves like i said, im not saying she can run around continuously regenerating lost limbs in a fight but just showing it is possible.

For me to say that I would have to get some form of confirmation on that. I don't think being a juubi jin promotes anything healing related the only buff i could see is a larger pool of chakra to regenerate from which i addressed stating possible limits to her regenerating limbs herself.

Hashirama and tsunade both had handsealess regen - you can't just say tsunade = Hashirama because they are using the same technique

Technically, via feats tsunade has better regen than Hashirama
If anything, you can try to give hashi tsunade a feats of regen- however it would be impossible

- juubi can bust islands casually
- you can't give the kyubi the same feats.

Look at rasengan
- Naruto's base rasengan damages obito's arm
- minato's base rasengan created a large crater and practically tore obito's arm off.


Trying to give tsunade juubi jink regen feats is just as much as a logical fallacy as giving Sasuke's perfect susanoo Madaras feats.

It's not even the same technique. Hashirama's healing comes from his sage mode, while Tsunade's is a regeneration ability she created herself. If anything Tsunade's regeneration technique could be better than Hashirama's sage mode healing.

Well actually i'm not saying they are equal in instant regeneration but it's hard to tell which is better when both have regenerated well instantly Lol

Even if you want to say her regeneration is better, Madara with hashirama's healing technique demonstrated the feats so I should be able to use it anyways if you choose this approach to the whole thing.

This is a totally different situation to those, instant regeneration as i said in my thread is just that.

Well we also know that SM has some extent of damage control natually. But on the levels of instant regeneration i'm not entirely sure, but the manga goes on so with new chapters comes new information.

And yes, yes i did lol I originally posted it a week or so ago on tumblr but im glad the base is recieving it remotely well as i initially didn't want to share it here.

SM gives someone durability, Madara's body is more durable than Tsunade's So he naturally takes less damage beforehand. Tanking and healing are much different things.

Like when Naruto fell on spikes in toad mountain, due to his durabilty he "tanked" it. İf Tsunade would fall on them, she would naturally get impaled then recover her wounds. Tanking =/= healing.

I have taken his durability into consideration but instant regeneration still helped him regrow an arm. I an simply trying to proof that regrowing a lost limb as she said is seemingly possible based on what we have seen from Madara, not necessarily pairing his durability to hers post becoming the juubi jin. I don't think instant regeneration changes much by the user. But we are entitled to our opinions so i will respect your view.

I see, but even if you don't believe she can regenerate from scratch at least you believe she can do what Madz did with taking zetsu arm and holding it in place and letting it regen right?

Madara took out her whole abdomen with the Susano sword and she was able to regenerate the spine bone, the muscles, the organs, and everything else there. So it shouldnt be hard to regrow the bone of her arm then the muscles, skin.

I feel like you may have glossed over Tsunade's chakra reserves too quickly. So putting chakra feats into tiers, this would be Bronze Tier
1. She summoned Katsuyu and healed thousands of villagers with her medical ninjutsu

the silver tier
1.Tsunade completely refilled the chakra of a 2 kages, one of whom, is a former jinchuuriki
2. She healed three of the other gokage
3. Used Creation Rebirth
4. Used Byakugou for hours on end and regenerated from several deadly attacks
5. She boosted Oonoki's Jinton

Gold Tier feats.
1. She healed the gokage
2. She replenished all of their chakras, including Ay who has bijuu level chakra, and Gaara who would have large reserves as a former jinchuuriki
3. She healed herself from being cut in half
4. She healed Shikamaru
5. She summoned Katsuyu
6. She healed the Shinobi Alliance whilst giving them chakra

What makes you think she replenished the Gokage after she healed them? I'm not saying it isn't true, but probably I missed something.

I only used what she did in the war before Dan replenished her chakra to show what she accomplished in one tank of gas. Because it shows her at full health down to when she was out of chakra. I have to consider her getting chakra from Dan as a free topup.

Attributing those older chakra feats would not give a clear indication of what she is capable of in one go with her reserves offensively and support together at once. So I decided to do it that way.

Ok, hey everyone. After the last chapter that was released this week I think it’s finally time to pull a small analysis together on instant regeneration specifically attributing feats that we have recently gotten to Tsunade and to possibly show you that she was telling the truth about all she said that her jutsu could do.

First I think I should first enlighten you guys on how Tsunade’s instant regeneration works.

See here she says how her jutsu works and then she proceeds to say that she can reconstruct limbs or organs via regeneration.

At this time through just creation rebirth she was able to regenerate these things:

-impaled heart

-sword to her side and shoulder

-Chakra scapel damage done by kabuto

That’s just something to note.

Now to shippuden, Tsunade stepped up her game in this part of the series showing that she is able to use a more advanced stage of the technique she boasted in part 1 known as byakugou no Jutsu. This justsu basically provides the same thing as Creation Rebirth but it’s continuous and heals all her wounds as long as she has chakra to perform the technique.

In spite of her getting this upgrade people have still underrated her ability and her as a kage when really this technique has proven to be very helpful to its user. So now I will show why Tsunade does indeed deserve the hype of her healing.

Gokage vs Madara

In byakugou mode Tsunade joined the fight with her fellow kage against Madara and in this fight she was able to take considerable damage and recover fully.

She was able to survive these types of damage:

So we can see that Tsunade has been able to tank a few difference techniques via her regeneration jutsu. We should see she has clearly proven that she can reconstruct Organs and just her damaged body in general.

I am not going to try to prove the part where she claims she can reconstruct limbs.

Let’s first go back to what Madara has said:

He basically tells us that Hashirama and Tsunade both possess the ability to heal without handseals and presumably the same way as we have seen and Madara experiences both first hand.

Now during the period Madara took Hashirama’s healing ability he acquired some feats with them that I strongly say proves Tsunade’s jutsu can reconstruct limbs.

Before I get to that part let’s look at some things Madara regenerated from that are notable.

He took a beating from all the bijuu and landed in a bath of Saikens acids.

He was also able to use the arm of a zetsu and stick it in place of his arm where the jutsu healed it and mended it to his body. This makes me see that Tsunade if ever lost a limb could avoid having to regrow it and put it back together via her jutsu by retrieving the lost body part.

Now onto the regrowing limbs, the part of the post whoever stuck around this long is waiting for. Now I know that Juubi host Madara is the one in these panels, but there is nothing to hint that the Juubi jin can pull off instant regeneration nor did he lose the ability he absorbed from hashirama becoming the juubi jinchuriki.

We can see the arm reforming from nothing on Madara! This is incredible and something I missed on my first viewing of the chapter. Thanks to a certain someone on NB AGoodBoy I was able to conclude that Tsunade was not just hyping her jutsu.

It even reminds me of something improved to what Shizune did to Neji to refill a big whole in his body:

Except she wouldn't need a medium.

Now to be realistic, to regrow a whole arm must take a huge amount of chakra. So I decided to try to put together a theory on how many times Tsunade could realistically regrow a lost arm that she cannot retrieve and stick back on herself.

When Tsunade was fighting Madara her chakra feats are as follows:

-She used Creation Rebirth upon coming to the scene

-She restored Gaara and Onoki’s energy via healing them

-She healed Mei

-She activated her byakugou and proceeded to tank several jutsu.

-She fought 5 susano on shortly, and off panel where she probably received similar damage to what we saw.

-She gave onoki chakra to power a jinton capable of taking out all 25 susano clones

-She tanked his katon jutsu as a last resort.

Tsunade having done all of this, managed to maintain the byakugou long enough for it to change from day to night and so I can say she must be able to get at least 5+ hours out of byakugou no jutsu (tell me what you think) which is incredible to even think for a jutsu that requires so much chakra just to use and heal the smallest of wounds.

Tsunade’s chakra pool is monstrous. I think it is safe to say that in a real fight scenario Tsunade could possibly regenerate a lost limb 1-2 times, pushing her limit to 3 times before diminishing her chakra pool.

I think that 2 times is pretty good considering the probability of losing limbs is not very high. Hope everyone enjoyed reading my slight analysis on instant regeneration. Thanks for reading!

P.S If you might think it's not right to give Tsunade Madara's feats with Hashirama's abilities, I believe that instant regeneration is just what it says and there should not be more variation in its capabilities.
