I see some people say it's plausible for Byakugo to combat decapitation, but I don't agree. I never understood the reasoning of people who support that theory.

The chakra that Tsunade uses to fuel Creation Rebirth originates from her forehead. If her neck (and network consequently) are severed via decapitation, then where is she even going to draw chakra from to heal with?

Decapitation obviously kills the user, that's not even debatable. However a stab to the heart/spine or even to the brain wouldn't be enough to put them down.

Tsunade already survived getting stabbed to the heart and spine ( not even once ), and a smaller stab to the brain isn't killing her.
I agree, damage to the brain will be healed. Complete severance is a different story... but just damage the brain will not put her down. She will heal it like she heals any other organ.

As long as a single thread of life fibers are still connected to her body she can regenerate decapitation. As we see in her fight against Satsuki

Not even I was that dumb.
Implying you used to be dumb. Don't worry we are cool.

Decapitation would kill them as Byakogou hasn't been shown to regenerate an entire body worth of cells, especially fast enough to ward off nigh instantaneous death.

If you are talking about a small stab to the brain, I would agree but brain cell loss will be permanent since the memory within can not be regenerated.
