Byakugan's Eight Triagram Kaiten is almost similar to Rinnegan's Shinra tensei ?

Did any one notice that Hyuga's Byakugan jutsu eight triagram kaiten is almost similar to rinnegan shinra tensei (almighty push) ?
Both repel all attack, but byakugan's jutsu is weaker and it needs physical body rotation, while rinnegan jutsu just simply launches it.

Good catch on the similarity. After all kishi did write in a databook that the sharingan mutated off the byakugan meaning the rinnegan actually devolved to that so in theory byakugan users can access rinnegan somehow. Knowing that, it only makes sense that they have a tech based off of a rinnegan tech

Full body blow is a chakra attack from all of the tenketsu from your chakra system. Shinra tensei is a manipulation of gravity. Big difference.

Actually I have also noticed this similarity between the two techniques some time in the past. The Hyūga's Kaiten is probably weaker than Shinra Tensei because they don't have strong bodies like the Uzumaki and Senju. If Nagato could use the Kaiten then he could probably use one that's big enough to destroy a village like Shinra Tensei.

when the hell did sharingan become eyes that come from byakugan. where is this so called databook written by kishi.
