Why is everyone suddenly pro Byakugan? I remember some time ago mostly everyone bashed the hyuga and called the byakugan fodder.

Even after the last released and the tenseigan mode was revealed people called it fodder. Now new gen focus on otsutsuki and Uzumaki-Hyuga hybrid, everyone hops the bandwagon? ​

Byakugan always had great potential but it was sidelined for its more powerful and flashy cousin, the Sharingan.

Neji was a boss in part-1. Himawari's hit on Naruto(even though he wasn't defending himself) and Boruto having the implanted Byakugan in the future bought more fans to it i guess.

Byakugan is/was fodder but since the new protagonist is mix with hyuga it'll get powerups that don't even go with the eye's ability at all.

the sharingan (literally meaning : Copy Wheel Eye) ,the ability of this eye was just copying Ninjutsu

no one was expecting to get an ass pull power ups (that have nothing to do with the eye's ability ) like MS , Tsukyomi , Ameterasu ,Izanagi , Izanami , and freaking Susanoo

Before Itachi's MS was introduced sharingan and byakugan were at the same levels, in your words fodder. And then came the asspull MS and beyond with powers that didn't even go with the eyes ability at all and yet fanboys liked it and defend it. I don't see why the byakugan can't get an upgrade of its own similar to the sharingan.

Not even MS was introduced early/mid part 1 that isn't asspull. Byakugan on the other hand was all about insight. Sharingan was way more than copying techniques even when they 11st introduced it it wasn't being used to copy techniques.

I don't think it's even a time freeze, I think it has something to do with SO6P chakra and boruto somehow was connected to the spirit realm . It makes absolute no sense if the Byakugan did the job...
