Anybody else want the Byakugan to get something on par at least with the MS, if not EMS?

Nope. It would be a total asspull. Maybe if there was any hint at a shred of evidence that something like that might exist in past chapters, but there aren't, and hinata's definitely not the best byakugan user in history, so there's no chance she's unlocking something new.

I'd like on par with MS....I don't prefer the OP eye techniques so listen to this!

Teikokku Byakugan: Imperial Byakugan....since I'm extremely uncreative I always see it as the Elder Son Dojutsu...


Anyways, I think the upgrade should focus on insight as that's what the Byakugan is known for. For starters, one gets the Full 360 degree vision. In addition one can see what element of chakra one molds

Fire: Red

Water: Dark Blue

Lightning: Yellow

Wind: Green

Earth: Brown

Now it can't predict what move will be used, but based on the insight of the situation and chakra type, one may be able to infer what will happen.


Finally, the user can see and manipulate Natural Energy....one could say it would be a psuedo sage mode, but a more advances form as one has better sight and more control over the energy. For example, with Naruto, he simply focuses the energy around him and it attacks based on his acts of agression.....with the Teikokku Byakugan, one would have more control, and could specify where to hit with the natural energy.




This way we have an upgrade that isn't making Hinata, the only likely Hyuga to get it, from being OP, and it csn also have a fair bit of plot importance. When Naruto looked st the Juubi in Sage Mode, he just saw a swirling mass of power. With the Byakugan's better sight and telescopic sight, its possible Hinata could help out by playing her scout role....to out it simply, discerning weak points. Also, she'd have the combat proficiency to deal with MokuJoukies far better, and this way she can defend Sakura while the latter performs her massive healing which we need very much so.

But yeah....I'd like something.

It was madara who discovered the MS and EMS, and he was the best uchiha ever in the history of history. Hinata is far from madara's level even compared to the rest of her clan. I don't think she's good enough to create a never before seen byakugan.

It's debatable...technically as of now, she's shown the most feats with it....having used 64 palms she has an equal tenketsu sight as Neji's. In addition I believe it was said she can look at up to 10 kilometers with her eyes....which is the furthest distance shown. It could be that her eyes were simply late bloomers, or part of Neji's genius was his early Byakugan development.

Neji was the strongest byakugan user shown; if not Neji then it is Hiashi. Hinata's sister Hanabi is said to be more gifted than her too. I forgot about Neji's father, Hizashi who is almost as strong as Hiashi. Most likely they are all better than Hinata when it comes to using the byakugan.

BTW byakugan can see chakra in different colors too. Its not sharingan/rinnegan exclusive.
