Does anyone think that the byakugan will have any power ups it just is far behind the other dojutsu and it was said that the sharingan came from it so any thoughts anyone

I don't think the Byakugan itself can be upgraded in any way. The Byakugan is a more refined bloodline that is derived from the Sharingan. Neji, and to a lesser extent, Hinata have significant potential, but it seems that their strength is derived from their use of Gentle Fist Taijutsu. Both have shown extremely powerful techniques, but they are related to Gentle Fist Taijutsu, and not their Byakugan. The only real change to their eyes is the range and perception when using the Byakugan.

Sadly, no. I think it's too late for him to add any upgrades to the Byakugan. It would just seem like he's handing out upgrade after upgrade. Seeing how he doesn't spend much time advancing with the Hyuga Clan and their dojutsu as he did with the Uchiha.

In all honesty, I wouldn't mind having the Byakugan the way it is now.
True, it's seen as the weakest of the three, but I still like it better.
It's just the buffs that it gives: long ranged vision, 360 degree vision, chakra vision, x-ray vision, and so on.
The six paths, genjutsu and Mangekyo benefits outmatch the Byakugan, but it's still impressive. Besides, they just seem to over powered. The byakugan is the most simple and fair

Its too late for byakugan but i think its pretty much impressive the way neji and hinata use their eyes in battles

But there has to be sumthing else in store just like izanami was found out this late neji could come out the blue and own a battlefield with some new power up because in part one they played into him a little saying that he was the top rated genin of all time and thats alot of people to be put ahead of think about minato itachi kakashi sasuke jaraiya the third hokage shisui and on and on

I really dont know maybe having a secret technique that can damage on a cellular level through the users eyes or a built up defense against genjutsu idk

How's this for an "upgrade"...so the Byuukugan can see "really far distances and has a 359 degree range scope huh? Well let's extend it's field of vision even more by giving "the Chosen Hyuuga(s)" the ability to "see all the way into the future"...that would be the most OP ability and it's hax would be OVER 9000!!!! But I'm sure you guys can help me come up with ways to not have Neji/Hinata all of a sudden pwn the S06P. Maybe the accuracy of what you see would all depend on how much chakra you have, your intellect and whatever else, but let's say the catch is..after this technique is used...your eye's...don't lose it's light, but becomes normal...? Maybe they normal permanently or maybe you have to do extensive rituals, training, meditation on top of having the "ancient Hyuuga spirits" deem you worthy of regaining your regular Byakuugan abilities once again. Haha...so far'fetched, but this sounds like a spin-off plot for "The Chronicles of a Legend: A man named Neji."

Nice one with the future thing although it would be very op.
But since the Byakugan can see the chakra network it could somehow predict the enemy's jutsu (like seeing the way they build up/mold chakra thus determining the jutsu) and also a way co counter it or stop it kinda like how sharingan can predict movement, the Byakugan could predict "chakra movement". That would be interesting. Something around those lines.

sadly, the byakugan has been over-shadowed by the sharingan and the rinnegan. i would like to see it be upgraded in some way, but i doubt that will happen U_U
