Byakugan would combine really well with Puppet techniques

As the title says, I think byakugan would work really well with puppet techniques.

Byakugan works under the premise that by injecting their chakra into the chakra points of the enemy they can control the enemy's chakra flow or even kill them with a single strike. Now the weakness with this technique is that you have to get close enough to strike the chakra points.

Puppet techniques on the other hand, attach chakra strings to an object and move it around. We know that the byakugan can be used through chakra strings from how Neji defeated Kidimarou. This means that theoretically, if a byakugan practitioner created chakra strings to the enemy's chakra points from mid/long range then he could then inject his chakra into the enemy for good effect.

Furthermore, puppet masters seem to be very good at creating many chakra stings. Therefore if a byakugan practioner attached a chakra string to one chakra point of the enemy then he could immediately attach many more to each chakra point of the enemy. Essentially, every chakra point could be attacked from long range (possibly from a stealth position) by using byakugan's gentle fist through the chakra strings of puppet techniques.

The Hyuga could be even more awesome than they are now. What do you think?

OT: a Hyuga puppeteer is OP on top of everything you mentioned, they can sit miles away with their enhanced vision. Hinata can see 10 kilometers in any direction....imagine Sasori with that kind of distance.


Not only that, but they could likely send their chakra into tenketsu through their puppets.




I've always thought about them as archers, but this is also an OP concept.

poison isn't a puppet technique.....

In Naruto it falls under medical ninjutsu.

Sasori would be top 3 if byakugan didn't exist, but sadly every byakugan user can see that he's a puppet, and see all the hidden mechanisms in his puppets, so he's bumped to top 50

But yes, if a puppet user at Sasori's level had byakugan, he could probably use Gentle fist art: gentle chakra threads to attack foes with chakra threads that can't be defended against. That's why in the hidden leaf village puppet jutsu is a forbidden art to the Hyuga clan.
