Now tell me, what do you know of the Byakugan?

The Byakugan is the all seeing white eye and the KG of the Hyuga clan, Byakugan is also 1 of the 3 great Dojutsu's in the Ninja world along with the Rinnegan and the Sharingan. One with byakugan has a 360 degree field of vision except for 1 spot blind spot above the 3rd vertebrae of the spine.

All Hyugas possess or are born with the Byakugan unlike the sharingan that has to be awakened.

One with Byakugan is able to see through solid objects, see the chakra flow of another ninja and also the Hyuga has great chakra control.

The Hyuga clan also has their own special form of taijutsu which only Hyugas are able to use this is called Jyuken - Gentle Fist, where they pound chakra points and disrupt the flow of chakra.

I don't know if this is all correct but this is all I know about Hyugas and the Byakugan.

What tracking speed does it have?

How can you use it to recognize genjutsu?

All Hyugas who inherit the Byakugan can use it from birth where as with the Sharingan it has to be awakened and some Uchiha don't even inherit the Sharingan at all.

The Byakugan has the same or equivalent tracking speed of the 3 tomoe sharingan.

A user of the Byakugan can see chakra flow thus making them able to see that the genjutsu user is focussing his chakra to his head, I think xd

What's the actual number for the tracking speed? Check the speed chart if you need to.

It allows them to see that their own chakra system is disrupted, thus alerting them to the fact they've been caught in a genjutsu.

The tracking speed of the Byakugan is the users normal tracking speed x2, for example, I am an S class ninja and my normal speed is level 5, so with the Byakugan I will be able to track an opponent with the speed of level 10.
