Byakugan v2.

Byakugan really needs an upgrade, a version 2.
Byakugan v2.

But what kind of upgrades will it have?

How about:

-No blind spot.

-Able to see senjutsu chakra.

-The amount of chakra, that you can release from your fingers and body, is greatly increased.
This will give you a much greater range with your taijutsu.

-The quality of your chakra will increase greatly. Allowing you to pierce and/or destroy defences, that would otherwise not be possible to get through.
Example, piercing through a defence like susanoo.

-You will have control over your own tenketsus. You will be able to increase the speed of the flow of chakra in your body. This will open up new and more powerful uses of your already existing abilities. Different from 8 gates. More like the change in chakra that neji witnessed when Kidomaru(the spider sound guy) went curse seal v2.

These are some ideas i could come up with
Anyone else have some good idea's that would fit a byakugan v2?

Yeah It's a shame and I definitely agree with your last 2 points they should have gotten some version of susanoo which is made by releasing chakra from all points and stabilizing it or something and then they should be able to use some eight gates jutsu by increasing chakra flow xd

I didnt mean that they would get susanoo armor, but that they would be able to pierce defences like that.

Sharingan could be linked to tengu myths.
Is there a myth that has any relation to byakugan?
Buddhism with all seeing eye/eye of god seems to have some relation.

Hyuuga=towards the sun.
Whereas sharingan is about the moon.

So byakugan and sharingan are sort of opposits.

Tbh, even though kishi seems to have left out or even forgotten about the hyuuga and byakugan, i believe they will still fill in an important role.

Make it upgrade to a Sharingan low level state. Or a non-Rennigan state... But with Byakagan ability stacked...

Edit: and you know... Something that won't fodderize them... Something like Sasano would be impractical, as they has rotation... So something like the 5 elements of The Last Airbender form would be interesting--at a constant... (constant rotation and elements surrounding)

If you look at the hyuuga, they use ninjutsu rarely or non at all.
They are based around taijutsu and their dojutsu, allows them to use a specific style.
It gives me the feeling as if they existed, before ninjutsu existed.
They even have a ability (the 64 tenketsu closing) that stops their opponent, in using any form of ninjutsu.
As if they hyuuga are the counter to ninjutsu.

Why wouldnt it stop bloodline limit users?
You cant use your chakra anymore for a while if all your tenketsus are closed (except second sources like how naruto accessed kurama). So you can only use abilities that dont require chakra (which makes you more or less a punching en kicking citizen).
Scorch, ice, wood, jinton, the bone kekkei genkai and others, all require chakra.

I don't think the Byakugan needs an upgrade at all, its already has the strongest "visual skills" of the three great Dojutsu's for example: can see many miles away from where you currently are, it can see in nearly 360 degree's, it even see the chakra network clearly enough to see the tenketsu and damage "ANYONES" chakra network, oh and not to forget to be able to see through genjutsu(maybe no resist it, but at least know they are caught it one), and one of my personal favorites X-ray vision. It also has better insight then sharingan which is huge in battle.

These abilities alone if used properly can make for a powerful warrior, that can only improve over time.

I am just annoyed i never got to see a Byakugan vs Sharingan fight.

I would like to see one as well.
However neji vs EMS sasuke seems a bit overkill. EMS is haxxor.
Would still be interesting to see that fight though.

I would have liked chuunin exam neji vs chuunin exam sasuke.

Yeah if you are good in taijutsu, you wouldnt be that much affected by the tenketsu closing. Rock lee might actually have an advantage here for once, for being total newb in nin and genjutsu hehe.

If he cant pierce through susanoo armor, than range doesnt really matter sadly enough.
