Welcome, looking forward to teaching you. Now would you care to RP or no RP. Whichever way you decide, start off by explaining to me what you know about the Byakugan. The history, it's capabilities, both from the series and the RP. Don't worry if you don't know something, we'll go over it after.

The byakugan is one of the three great Dojutsu, and is held by the Hyuga and Oitsuki clan. All clan members hold the byakugan, unlike the sharingan where you have to awaken it. It is known for its near perfect 360 vision , besides a small point on the back of their necks. It can be awakened into a Tensaigan by implantation of the hyuga clan into the eyes of direct descendant of Hamura Otsutsuki, however in the NW you can buy them (thankfully). The Hyuga clan is known for their fighting style gentle fist, the opposite of strong fist used by Might Guy Sensei. The style is meant to shut down chakra points and vitals through the use of falms, fingers, and chakra blast. Many feats have been used with this, shown with the amazing 16 trigram 128 palm, their control of air via using abilities such as vacuum palm to destroy organs, and the near perfect defenses of some of the best hyuga, such as Neji and Haishi.

Otsutsuki remove their eyes at birth (because reasons) so that's a downside, and while the Hyuga have it at birth, more diluted descendants do need to have it awakened like the Sharingan. Prime example is Himawari, Naruto and Hinata's daughter.
The visual powers of the Byakugan offer telescopic, penetrative, as well as near 360º vision. The vision also grants the user to see chakra networks. Now, with this, you can even see visual disturbances in your chakra network caused by Genjutsu (up to A-Rank). You can tell the nature of attacks that are incoming based on how the chakra looks to you, (wind chakra is sharp, water chakra is fluid, etc). There was a minimum telescopic vision of about 800 kilometers in the series, but that equates to 2 landmarks away in the NW (this can be boosted with specialties and tools). The penetrative vision also lets you avoid light from even blinding your eyes (unless somehow explicitly stated in a tech). This means smoke bombs and flash grenades are helpless. However, thinks like Hiding in the Mist can blind your vision cause all you see is a cloud of chakra everywhere.
Now while this visual clarity is offered to both Otsutsuki and Hyuga with the Byakugan, only Hyugas can use Gentle Fist, because they adapted the fighting style to it. Realistically anyone with that level of visual clarity could do it, but only Hyugas did. The Gentle Fist isn't specifically focused on hitting chakra points, the idea is that it focuses on internal damage of any kind. It's just more detrimental to affect the chakra network, but you can hit internal organs too.
Another thing that came out of this was practically expert natural chakra control. They can release chakra from every tenketsu in their body, versus the typical only hands and feet that regular ninja can do. That means, elbows, eyes, knees, etc. Fun idea if you ever want to get creative.

Description: The kekkei genkai intrinsic to both the Hyūga and Ōtsutsuki clans—descendants of Kaguya Ōtsutsuki. Those who possess this dōjutsu have it manifested as eyes with featureless white irides and no visible pupils. And when activated, the pupils become more distinct and the veins near their temples bulge. To activate the dōjutsu, Hyuga but not Ōtsutsuki clan members are initially obliged to use a rather long and specific sequence of handseals: Horse → Tiger → Boar → Hare → Rat → Dog → Horse → Dog → Hare → Rat → Boar → Snake. But once activated, the dōjutsu user is endowed with a range of skills.
To start, an activated Byakugan gives the user a near 360º diameter field of vision bar one blind spot at the back of the neck, above the first thoracic vertebra. Its vision can penetrate through any solid objects or obstructions and likewise remains unaffected by blinding interferences. But that being said, certain barriers and the like may distort its perception. In addition, it is able to follow high-speed movements, which enables those with this dōjutsu to analyze their foes' actions and better react to them. The Byakugan is also able to see chakra to a higher degree than the Sharingan and ergo, identify where a person's chakra signature originates from. Beyond that, it can discern certain types of clones from the real person. And its ability to see chakra is in fact so acute that those who possess this dōjutsu are even able to see the chakra pathway system and the 361 tenketsu that comprise it. The Hyūga clan has gone so far as to develop its unique Gentle Fist style in order to capitalize on this particular ability.
Note: Hyuga clan bios of at least Sannin rank become able to passively activate their dōjutsu upon one month having passed since Gentle Fist training concluded. Ōtsutsuki bios never need to expend a move in order to activate it.
Note: While traversing the NW, bios with activated Byakugan are able to see up to two 2 adjacent landmarks away while those of sage rank can see as far as three away, but this doesn't extend beyond an ocean landmark.

It's also considered a full-body surge, so consider this to allow yourself to get out of Genjutsu. Surge rules apply. Also Range Rules follow, so 0-5 Meters is Short, 5-15 Meters is Mid, and 15+ is Long. Reasonably, don't expect to go more than say like 25 meters if someone is like really far away.

Nice job, important to note for the first tech; you can't do both unable to use ninjutsu in that limb or surge. It's one or the other

Description: The user exerts chakra from several tenketsu from a single part of their body, this chakra is gathered roughly ten centimeters away from the user's skin and forms a small shield of chakra, no bigger than twice the size of an average palm conveniently useable as a way to block tai/kenjutsu attacks(upto B-Rank) but is weak to elemental techniques as it's merely raw chakra which does not require advanced chakra manipulation. If the opponent makes physical contact with the shield they will suffer slight damage across the part of their skin which connected with it. The shield itself is no bigger than twice the size of an average palm and can block Tai/Kenjutsu attacks up to B-Rank as well as Elemental attacks up to C-Rank within reason.

(Jūho: Tamashii Baindingu Saakuru) - Gentle Step: Soul Binding Circle

Description: The user channels chakra into one of their feet. Once they do, they will quickly stomp the ground and in the same motion, release a wave of chakra that quickly travels above ground surface. More specifically, the chakra manifests as a white omnidirectional ring that, upon contact with an enemy's body, the chakra will briefly paralyze their feet. It is similar to Palm Heel Strike, insofar as it causes one's muscles to be slightly damaged. This can also be applied through a kick, should it connect with the target, and forces the user's chakra into a specific bodily area with even more potent effects. The attack, itself, lacks tangible properties and ergo, phases through physical techniques (e.g., Earth and Water) without being hindered.
Note: Each application is useable only twice per battle.

Description: A variant of Eight Trigrams Palm Revolving Heaven whereby the user follows the same process but also shapes the outputted chakra into razor sharp blades. Ergo, those struck by it are not repelled by concussive force but are instead subjected to being reduced to small shreds by coming into contact with what is akin to a giant revolving grater.
Note: B-rank is short-range while each rank thereafter increase the range by one level.

Description: The user channels chakra into one of their feet. Once they do, they will quickly stomp the ground and in the same motion, release a wave of chakra that quickly travels above ground surface. More specifically, the chakra manifests as a white omnidirectional ring that, upon contact with an enemy's body, the chakra will briefly paralyze their feet. It is similar to Palm Heel Strike, insofar as it causes one's muscles to be slightly damaged. This can also be applied through a kick, should it connect with the target, and forces the user's chakra into a specific bodily area with even more potent effects. The attack, itself, lacks tangible properties and ergo, phases through physical techniques (e.g., Earth and Water) without being hindered.
Note: Each application is useable only twice per battle.

Description: A variant of Eight Trigrams Palm Revolving Heaven whereby the user follows the same process but also shapes the outputted chakra into razor sharp blades. Ergo, those struck by it are not repelled by concussive force but are instead subjected to being reduced to small shreds by coming into contact with what is akin to a giant revolving grater.
Note: B-rank is short-range while each rank thereafter increase the range by one level.
(Jūken: Hakke Sanjūni Shō) - Gentle Fist: Eight Trigrams Thirty-Two Palms
A stronger, faster, and more potent version of the 16 palms. This makes it impossible to use moves over 50 chakra for three moves and lowers their chakra and senjutsu reserves by 10%, and is done at 1.5x the speed

Send chakra through a quick palm attack to parylize the victim for 1 turn

If SAW the movie created revolving heaven. This move is similar to Eight Trigrams Palm Revolving Heaven, but the chakra is transformed into blades. This makes the rotation shred any person into shreds. Follows the same range progression as Eight Trigrams Palm Revolving Heaven.
