Its not quite as strong as six paths or ten jin but the ability to become a full blown Otsutsuki with the only limitation being chakra reserves is basically like having a rinnegan but better because it comes with fighting experience and superhuman skill. Momoshiki is a rinnegan user too so it's just like gaining a rinnegan but better.

It's not an ability or a handout. Momo took control of borutos body. It's not anything like being a Jin because Momo eventually could take over his body entirely. Furthermore Momo only fought because it was in his best interest since he and boruto share the same body.

It sounds pretty similar to me, Kurama could also take over Naruro after enough erosion. Eventually Burrito will gain control of his power, maybe even become butt buddies, much like Naruto did with Kurama.

I agree that its somewhat similar to Naruto but it's different and new at the same time.

I like the idea of the Jougan having a relation with the reaper death seal. One reason is that the shinigami looks like an Otsutsuki and the Uzumaki clan has some experience with it. That covers the Jougan being some sort of Otsutsuki dojutsu and Boruto's Uzumaki heritage. Its ability could be based on sealing jutsu and barriers I like the idea of being able to cast physical matter in elemental jutsu with the Jougan as well but the best thing would be the ability to consume your opponent's spirit allowing him to steal their abilities. The one eye thing looks cool to me.
