Dojutsu comes from the brain. Its a ocular dojutsu all stems from your brain. Tobirama explains how the sharingan works and im sure its something similar to the Byakugan. Regardless, Uchiha known for their powerful chakra all comes back from sharingan main roots. Its a moot point.
