Kaguya had the Byakugan before she ate the fruit, so it's obvious that the Ootsutski carried the byakugan as the true founder of their clan. But Kishi will never display hyuga as importance and how it all ties into the Ootsutski lineage

Makes me wonder, since Bolt is in possession of both Hamura & Hagaromo chakra/lineages, how will his byakugan play out (if he gets one) tenseigan maybe? Nah.....

That would be an asspull. All characters with byakugan have the same eyes regardless if its activated and they have always had those eyes ex:baby hinata and neji.

Actually he might. There are two 2 color scans in gaiden dedicated to boruto and actually both of them is confirmed. We know Boruto eye is blue in the trailer and also the Gaiden however in the promo in Naruto the Last, Boruto eye is silver white. As you realized, his eyes were normally blue, but in other scan he has an lavandar eye almost the color of the byakugan.

Since he's a Hyuga/Uzumaki hybrid, perhaps his eye color changes from blue like his father, to gray/white like his mother. I recall Himawari's eyes having a lavender tint to them in initial release of the kid images.

Yes, all other character with byakugan have been like this, but never before have we seen one wed outside of their clan. I'm still open to the posibility.
