Byakugan has been the most underrated Doujutsu in NV

I think it's seen as the least desirable because the doujutsu has seen to focus more on taijutsu instead of being well diverse in Ninjutsu and genjutsu like the other two doujutsus.

Personally I like the sharingan, being able to control anybody has its perks, especially Kaguya's.
