Byakugan = fodder now?

It's pretty annoying tbh it's one of the San Daidōjutsu, it gives you near 360 degree vision with a 800 meter radius, you can see through walls, they can see chakra flow, there is absolutely no defense against gentle fist apart from stopping it from making contact with the body.


They know when a genjustu is being used on them, they can stop chakra flow killing there enemies.

They can protect themselves from attack using revolving heaven, making up for their blindspot.

So they have the best eye sight in the narutoverse, defensive superiority, ultimate tiajutsu.

Can not be fooled with shadow clones.

Legitimately strong Kekkei Genkai.

Actually even more Hinata can up to 10km or more Tokuma was said to have the best byakugan so even more.

So what is your issue? Most of the shinobi in the series are just fodder.

The problem with the Byakugan is that it is very specialized and the techniques that it is coupled with are equally specialized. This means that it is extremely difficult to adapt it and evolve it to match the changes in the series. The Hyuga are still probably better at long distance sensing and tracking than the Uchiha, but many characters (i.e. Naruto, Karin, Kiba, and even Gaara) have demonstrated better ranged sensory abilities. Furthermore, since sensing chakra is such a common skill in the series now, it is more common for characters to mask their chakra better, thus further eliminating the sensory prowess of the Byakugan and Sharingan. Taijutsu has also taken a back seat considering that there are characters that can poison or blow up taijutsu users on contact. Most of the short-range attack characters are hindered because they are not versatile enough to take on any of the more powerful characters. Afterall what good is taijutsu against the likes of Susanoo and Kyubi Mode?

As for your shadow clones thing, I'm fairly certain that Naruto fooled Neji during the Chunin Exams with clones.

Kage bunshins distribute chakra equally so its impossible to tell the difference between a real and fake one. Also even if a user mask their chakra the byakugan still see's the person. The Byakugan can counter the sharingan but anything like the MS-EMS the byakugan can't counter. Although the byakugan is more of a taijutsu dojutsu and even has features that the rinnegan can only dream of having.

That's not the point. The point IS that the only way a Byakugan user can tell the difference between a clone and the original is their level of chakra. The one with more chakra then everybody else is most probably the original and what Naruto did was distribute his chakra evenly and tricked Neji. How does that have anything to do with being a genin?

Wierd right, they are meant to be ninja hunters, being able to stop chakra flow at high speeds and having near 360 vision, and a 360 defense to make up for the blind spot should put them right up there.

They won't even let one byakugan character evolve into rinnegan.

Actually their isnt a set limit on how far they can see. It differs form user to user and how much they focus in a particular direction!

Neji looked at 5 differ locations with 800 meters being the furthest. Hinata looked 10km in one particular direction because she focused. So all in all their is no set limit till kishi says so..

The byakugan gets no love in shippuden and its sad.lol

I am glad Byakugan is dead to Kishi. He had like 5 episodes about it. Although, Uchiha has a lead.

Kishi seemed like he was setting byakugan to be higher than sharingan, with people saying byakugan is sought after, and that sharingan broke off from byakugan, now it's like there clan is just above regular nin.

I hope after the 4th nin wa is over they finally get the respect they.....aw forget it ain't gona happen =.=
