Byakugan comes from the sharingan

Early on in the series, Kakashi (I think) said that the sharingan was rumored to have come from the Byakugan. After all that we have seen, can we then imply that the Byakugan actually came from the sharringan? If so, this means that the Hyuga clan was originally part of uchiha. I guess that is comparible to the Senju and Uzumaki. What are your thoughts.

The family hierchy was held by the Huuga clan forever. If they were branched off from Uchiha, the Uchiha would have some sort of simular protection for the Sharigan. If the Byakugan/Hyuuga Clan came from the Uchiha this would also had been a Uchiha practice from the start. But there is no family division for the Uchiha, and no seal protection for the Sharigan. And the Sharigan is more powerful than the Byakugon. I dont think this is true.

To be honest I believe they both are just decendants. Maybe they have the same ancestors but split in two different clans and ggained different abilities. Uchiha gained the sharingan cuz most of the uchiha (IMO) are power hungry and the hyuga gained the byakugan cuz they are more about taijutsu and sensory.

I've said it before and Ill say it again! Sharingan is like the a pretty girl in the North, whereas Byakugan is like a pretty girl in the south.(Weird looking and the product of inbreeding)

Well if you think about it, the byakugan does what the sharingan can't do. The Sharingan can be used to predict what move will happen and where it will hit. The byakugan gives the user the ability to see almost everything around you which would eliminate the guess work. That being said, i would say that it wasnt descended from the sharingan because maybe since it was the only doujutsu at the time it was created then some ninja that was an enemy of the Uchiha needed a way to equal the playing field a little so it somehow got created like every other kekkai genkai. i hope this makes sense lol
