Fact sharingan is directly derived from the sages eyes we don't know were the byakugan & the hyuuga comes from.

fact the sharingan in all stages have enhanced vision and all its basic attributes

it sees chakra even on a microscopic level and even hidden or covered

As someone b4 me stated if u have the sharingan your chances of survival are slightly greater. This is the ninja world random fights tend to occur. With genjutsu chances of winning a random bout is higher.

The byakugan is better in non combat or as the creator of this thread stated in more strategic battles like platoon vs platoon.

Stop rooting and going against the sharingan its somewhat pathetic many of yall only agree because u actually think the opposite and can't stand it. Anyways I agree that both are better than the other in different aspects and situations.

This isnt even an issue, its been clear in the manga since day one.
I didnt even include the fact that you can surpress the kyuubi chakra/control it with a mere sharigan. Also you can read the sage's tablet a bit with the sharigan and further with an upgrade.

Nothing has been said about the byakugan being able to even read that tablet a little like the shairgan. Way too many uchiha haters

It's not pointless, you are the few who (I assume you read my thread) after reading my posts still believes the Sharingan is better. It is not, the serve different purposes. Saying the Sharingan is better is like saying a Sword is better than a Bow & Arrow.

Sharingan is stronger because kishi decided so, Byakugan is weaker because Kishi decided so. What sG Taka is pointing out is that you cannot say Sharingan is better than the Byakugan by just saying that Sharingan is stronger than Byakugan. Both have different advantage & drawbacks. Personally I like Sharingan before than now as Sharingan now is full of overpowered unfaired jutsus & illusionary crap itself.

Both serve different purposes, exactly, one may be stronger but it does not make it better. Thanks for agreeing with the main point of the thread

Sharingan:

- can predict movements at some amount

All sharingan techniqes depends on the level of the sharingan (1,2,3 tomoe).

After reading this don't you think they serve different purposes? Hmm? No? The fact is, the byakugan used for scouting missions, while the sharingan used for combat. Different purposes, different abilities. That's all. Try to spy your enemy from 10km or lead a platoon and evade your enemy, before they can even see you... you can't do that with sharingan, BUT you can't copy techniques with a byakugan either... there's no it's better that's better. Also these: this is stronger, that is stronger is bullshit. As said before: car vs truck...

And if you don't know yet, Kishi is the biggest Uchiha fan in the world (after uchiha macho...) and obviously he's hypeing it to an extreme level and gives it stupid random powers and evolving abilities, like MS, EMS, Rinnegan (I still don't know why he evolved the EMS to Rinnegan... it's sooooooo stupid...). So no wonder the Byakugan is showed to be weak and useless, and he succesfully gives these little boys/girls to believe that it's weak and useless.

I agree, I want to see an upgrade for the Byakugan. Also If it were not for the Byakugan Danzo would have become the Shinobi alliance leader. I am very grateful for the Byakugan. I wish they would come out with something like the Mangekyou Byakugan or something.xd

Orochimaru wen't after the Sharingan for two reasons:
1) Sasuke was the only Uchiha in the village, he was weak, it was way easier plus he fed him with psychological tricks. (Hatred etc)
2) He wanted to know every jutsu, Byakugan does not work for that.

True. I actually made a thread about the Hyuuga clan beening a watered down Uchiha clan like how Uzumaki clan is to Senju. It wouldn't make the Hyuuga clan weaker at all since water down means they don't have as much DNA in them. 2 Uzumakis are powerful characters in the manga, Naruto and Nagato. So the same can be for the Hyuuga clan, this mean they have the Sage's olde son DNA. The Sage's older son had the Sage eyes and yin chakra (powerful chakra and spiritual energy).
