First and foremost, this thread isn't created with fundamental evidence or supportive scans or any resource. Frankly, I'm simply using words to convince you here.
Let me start off by introducing our subject matter:
The Byakugan: its description can be found on the internet
As per explained in NarutoWiki:
(a) The Byakugan gives the user a near 360º diameter field of vision, with one blind spot at the back of the neck above the first thoracic vertebra.
(b) ts vision can penetrate through most solid objects and obstructions, though certain barriers may distort the Byakugan's perception.
(c) The Byakugan is able to follow high-speed movements, which allows the user to better react to them.
(d) In the anime, the Byakugan is shown magnifying in on small targets and seeing infrared to detect a target through their body heat.
(e) In the anime, Kaguya could use her Byakugan to see through one's thoughts and feelings, which even Hamura proved incapable of repelling with his Byakugan.
(f) She could also emit powerful chakra pulses to subdue her opponent.
Arguably, its greatest ability is to see chakra , which it can do to a greater degree than the Sharingan : it can identify chakra by the specific individuals it originates from, determine when genjutsu is being used, and discern certain types of clones from the real person.
(g) Its ability to see chakra is acute enough to see the chakra pathway system and the 361 tenketsu that run along it
Although all of its abilities are fundamentally potent, (e) provides a more intriguing insight to what the White Eye really is capable of
Having acumen into one's feelings and thoughts is HAX to me. Isn't that better than not knowing your opponent's intentions and only predicting through mere foreboding shadows of chakra that can cause confusion if the opponent's really fast
If you could read your opponent's thoughts and feelings. That's enough to react even before they start flinching, as opposed to prediction on a future movement in a muscle
Also:
What if that 1° weakness can be eliminated? What if there are extremes one has to undergo to eliminate it completely and have no worry if your opponent might realize it?
Itachi has always preached weakness' innateness, but he also was fully aware of the fact weakness can be overcome by some means. If there are; and if Boruto awakens his one-eye Byakugan we'll see him overcoming it in a better way than Neji who protected the spot with a shroud of chakra
And granted that the opponent can be seen anywhere and everywhere, you just have to step into proximity to see yourself die
Taijutsu wise:
Byakugan takes it anytime when it comes to it, but Kishi blatantly nerfed them. They were more adept at it than any ninja, and provided they underwent extreme Taijutsu training, they could have entered a lower but a respectable caliber of Gai's
In that case they would be able to counter ninjutsu with speed combined with great insight and the fact they can see your chakra pathway system. With it they could subdue a Complete Susanoo, provided they train to the same level as Kaguya
Overall they would have been hax had Kishi not liked the Uchiha better
