Well to be fair this didn't happen in the manga, but they way things are in both the manga and anime I guess you could take this as canon.

Storing Senjutsu chakra is plausible but storing an eye technique is beyond the capability of this Yin seal. Tsunade made it for the purpose of Storing body energy aka chakra where she can use it when she needs it. So she doesn't need to work on a routine of chakra recovering especially when in tight battle.

I had a theory about SM regarding the seal a long time ago that kinda has to do with that.

I had a thought that just like Tsunade uses the seal to channel her strength to katsuya so she can perform in their world. For slug SM I thought that it would be the reverse of that where katsuya would pass sage chakra through the seal to the user who has to ofc balance this which would require serious chakra control.

I also thought of it just being stored in there like regular chakra and then released already being moulded so in the moment it would be almost effortless to use the SM when it is ready. (this seems like more prep time though so it wasn't preferred by me)

The connection between that seal and the user's intrigues me because it definitely has some connection to katsuya, just based on how it can be used with her.
