I feel sorry for the hyuuga clan about the dojutsu power.. They're strong for having good dojutsu and taijutsu but it seems they were left behind comparing with rinnegan and sharingan.. sharingan users can copy most jutsus and taijutsu, having field vision just more like byagukan and unlocking new powers.. rinnegan users have shared visions and paths.. but byakugan users only have 360 visions and no unlocking dojutsu power and good taijutsu users.. its just unfortunate that byagukan doesn't have unlocking powers..

They were always meant to be support like they are today, it's only that the elite memebers of the clan from the past developed a taijutsu style which only they can do because they know and can see all the 361 chakra points in the body. If you look at the most of the byakugan abilities it is mainly good for scouting the are and defence which is why I say they were mainly support. Just like the uzumaki which would mainly be support (sealing, healing, sensing around the area.) It's like kishi made a battle clan and a support clan, senju battle clan uzumaki support, uchiha battle clan hyuga support.
