So people can stop saying Byakagan has precog ill explain it once more.
Byakagan sees things at a higher frame rate due to the natural ability of it to bend and focus light (Thus 360 vision, distance, micro etc). Doesn't mean precog, just simply means they can see more frames of a constant action essentially slowing things down.
Sharingan can see things before they happen due to the 3rd tomoe (At least based on illustration) allowing the user to calculate actions before they happen and make adjustments accordingly.
Two Seperate mechanics however they can potentially work the same based on the User. Lets use a bullet firing as an example
Both users are equal in strength,speed, reflexes and everything else except 1 guy has Sharingans and the other has Byakagans.
Example 1) Bullet fired at a Byakagan user
Due to their heightened insight and based on the mechanics of the Byakagan (Light bending) he should be able to see the bullet coming at him in slower motion due to its ability to capture more FPS. As shown below
Example 2) Bullet fired at Sharingan User
Due to the Sharingans ability to see things before it happens the user will already have a trajectory for the bullet
While both mechanics are cool one must remember its ultimately up to the user. So basically if both users are slow then they both will be shot rather they see it coming slower or already know where its going to land because their bodies can't react in time. HOWEVER, if they are both faster than bullets then they can both adjust themselves accordingly putting themselves out of harm's way.
