Apparently the effects of Rinne Tensei can't be reversed. Probably cause it's doujutsu related. Naruto was able to revive Gai due to the effects that happened on his body. Maybe, I'm just speculating.

I'm thinking it's RT since Kurama said extraction of the Juubi doesn't kill you. Just my two cents.
