Description: Samurai quickly learned that Ninjutsu would be a very dangerous weapon, and an incredibly difficult one to combat. But, they soon developed a countermeasure that helped them combat the ever-growing amount of Ninjutsu users: infusing their armor with their own chakra. By releasing their chakra into their armor, Samurai infuse their armor with special properties, protecting against energy based attacks up to 10 damage, and physical jutsu of 20 damage and lower. This works by creating an invisible overshield of chakra around the Samurai’s body, using their chakra to augment their armor to help protect them. Due to the spiritual nature of this technique, harmonizing the Samurai’s life energies with their armor, and bringing the user’s Bushidō to the forefront of their mind,
preventing Genjutsu of up to A rank from targeting them. This increase of chakra also augments their physical prowess, tripling their speed and granting a large increase to Kenjutsu and Samurai jutsu. However, upon ending, the Samurai is unable to use Iado and S rank and higher Samurai jutsu that turn and next due to fatigue as well as only two jutsu the turn it ends.
Note: This jutsu lasts 5 turns each use and is capable of being used 3 times.
Note: Only usable by Samurai bios. No summonings can use it, even if they can use other Samurai techniques.

This is a strong technique and I must say the best part about it is its ability to tank damage, whiles the drawbacks seem large, in actuality its not that bad most of the drawbacks simple limit your samurai abilities but not regular Ken and Tai or other fields the user may have access too.

Its ability to prevent genjutsu is another great aspect which potentially allows the user to focus on other specs rather than genjutsu prevention focused ones

You bio is paired with Ronin, so those drawbacks are minimal. It says no samurai techniques, doesn't say kenjutsu as a whole. So the only thing that really limits you is that it leaves you using 2 jutsu in the turn it ends.

Apart from the fact that this technique costs a move to use unlike some states/modes, I don't see a glaring weakness with activating this technique, in fact I would say simply activating this technique could be the answer to countering some techniques used against you

These crescents are capable of combating equal ranked Elemental Ninjutsu. The samurai have also shown the ability to use shape transformation, as they can form their chakra blades into giant buzz saws, broad swords, spiked shafts, and axes. This ability allows them to rely on smaller swords while retaining greater reach, damage, and surprise attacks as needed.

Ah yes that is an issue however this should benefit from Chakra fortification falling under kenjutsu making it equivalent to 50 chakra meaning I could break free from basic S rank gen with this, is that correct?

Is the range referring to the length at which the sword/chakra can extend or is it referring to simply how far the crescent of chakra can reach?

Also is the chakra that is coating the blade and extending from the blade capable of also combatting ninjutsu of equal rank should I aim to cut at it physically instead of using the projectile form?

As for you question. You create a cloak around the sword and you can fire waves. You should look at the anime of Sasuke attacking the kage summit to see it. It's easier than me trying to explain.

I'd advise chakra fort on kenjutsu. This would then increase the chakra of this.
