Burn, painful but it's not as slow as a process as freezing. When you freeze to death it's usually when the blood circulation stops throughout the heart and veins/arteries.

Little lesson:

Burning to death is generally faster but more painful.

Although freezing takes longer, when your body temperature lowers beneath a certain threshold temperature you start to hallucinate, and also you don't feel cold anymore. Infact some people have been known to strip naked because they feel hot & if someone tried to save them at that point they probably would decline.

Imo burning to death probably, simply because it's faster.
