Might sounds strange to you, but what I would do is actually re-educate the fellow, and make him WORK for his money. This approach is applied here in the Netherlands, and guess what? It works for 80% of the convicts.

I'm from Pakistan. And i heard about this but really what they did was wrong. I know stealing is heaps bad. But even according to Shariah Law ( Islamic Law) , the person has to be first proved in court that they actually did the crime. And if convicted then its just one arm. Not two.

These police officers, didn't follow any law. Except just did what they wanted to do.

I feel sorry for anyone that lives under the Sharia law. No disrespect but it is so flawed.
