Lets be honest here, every yonko shits on every shichibukai with the exception of Mihawk.

Yeah that's true but BB was a warlord but he still challenged the new world and grabbed a slot as a yonko. Anything is possible in the OP world, you just need to make the right moves. Because they are yonko doesn't make their crew invincible and super strong. WB was a true yonko but his crew still struggled against opponents in marine ford even though it was a walk in the park for him.

Why? Burgess is a commander of one, if not the final villain. It would be kind of strange if he could beat him already.

People are really underestimating Yonko commanders. Burgess was far stronger than luffy pre-timeskip. He might not have been on Ace's level, but that doesnt mean he was on Luffy's level either. Look at BB's confidence in Burgess winning the tournament even though there are people like Diamante and Luffy participating that alone means Burgess is crazy strong. BB is not the guy to underestimate someone, he always plans everything carefully. Dont get me wrong, I dont think Burgess destroys Doffy, but I think he high/xhigh diffs him. So he is stronger, but just by a small margin.

Don't forget Franky knows Luffy's strength, yet he doubted he could win against Burgess without even seeing his full powers. Pre-TS BB thought Supernovas like Bonney were to weak to join his crew.

BB also wanted to recruit Kuzan(ex-admiral), but Burgess refused because he didn't trust him as much like he didn't trust Shiliew at the start. But the simple fact an ex-admiral was suggested to be part of BB's crew must be an indication of strenght of said crew, right?

All you stated here was Blackbeard's feats...Aokiji was already strong before joining that's assuming he had joined fully, also you can't judge how strong someone is by their crew strength your making the same mistake King Of Lightning does for instance Dragon doesn't have Admiral level followers (From what we've seen) yet it's almost certain that Dragon himself could tussle with a Yonko.

Also how does Franky know Luffy's strength Luffy hasn't even shown his full strength yet.

Its not cause I dislike Burgess or anything,I just feel like it would show what a twisted mother****er Doffy is

He needs to be one of the long lasting villains imo
And Burgess doesnt come across as anything too special imo
The reason BB Pirates are where they are is only cause of BB.

Luffy will lose. Its only plot. Luffy loses, gets thrown into the pit where all the losers are at atm. Since no-one else can get them outta there. He will somehow be able to do so, considering he is probably stronger than all of them. Then by the time luffy escapes Burgess would be long gone [ adding to the hatred, luffy will have towards the BB pirates ]

Now, let's say, in the final round, Luffy, Bartolomeo, and Rebecca team up to defeat him. I'd be cool with that. But Burgess is the Commander of the Blackbeard pirates. His strength is probably ridiculous.

Dude, Yonkou commanders are on shichibukai level. Luffy was taking on Shichibukai b4 TS thanks to plot and weaklings like Moriah. Luffy should legitimately be on their level now, especially since taking down Don Chinjao.

As of now: Burgess Mid diff. I think that the Strawhats will be weaker than the BB pirates (whom are also still developing but currently are higher up in the oceanic hierarchy , the Strawhats will develop faster in order to match them EOS)

If Burgess wins he should win high diff. Pre TS Burgess stood no chance against Ace, as stated by BB. Luffy is about Ace's level. Burgess has probably gotten stronger, maybe he now has DF powers now. But still I doubt he could defeat Luffy without difficulty, especially since Luffy still has to go all out.
