A very quiet old man that doesn't say much. Grunts when he talks and looks as if he has a permanent scowl on his face. he loves to take things slow thinking planning out many times ahead. He takes 30 minutes planning out all the possibilities and strategies to implement before he goes into the bathroom. He is a master at shougi but many people won't play him because they will get destroyed and he takes too long. Many younger people take him for granted out on the battlefield but he will beat those whippersnappers into shape.

A master strategist and a cunning mind, he can outsmart and outplay many stronger and faster opponents on the battlefield. Wise beyond his years(if it's possible), he has escaped many a dire situation with just his mind. He doesn't have a huge reputation because he lived in a small village and servers as a silent spy using his mind rather than strength and can therefore take opponents by surprise in battle.
History:
Bumi's ninja career did not begin until he was around 20 years old, when the Hidden Grass Village became supported by the Hidden Leaf. The world was at war and the Hidden Grass needed protection. But protection came at a cost, the Hidden Leaf asked for troops to support them in the war. Wanting to keep all the good ninjas in the village. The Hidden Grass sent ninjas they felt like where expendable to the Hidden Leaf's front lines. Bumi was one of them. Everybody knew if you were sent to the Hidden Leaf you were considered nothing by the village just a body they weren't willing to keep. Because of this Bumi Iro was hurt and became very angry and thought about turning rouge. However, he changed his anger into motivation to make the best out of his situation. After being thrown on the front lines as fodder for strong opposing ninjas, he kept surviving battle after battle as his peers died off. This caught the attention of army generals who saw his ability in strategy and also his sheer strength. He was assigned to intel and quickly moved up the ranks going as far into enemy lines undercover. however, he received little recognition because he was a weak ninja from the hidden grass. After playing a crucial part in the war he returned to his home in the hidden grass not as a hero, but an afterthought that somehow stayed alive. He no longer holds a grudge but lives peacefully at his home in Kusagakure waiting to be called on again for his special abilities.
