So there are many PC builder sites like for example PCPartPicker. It tells you if there are no issues in the parts you picked. CPU, Motherboard, Cooler, Memory etc etc. And I came up with two lists of parts that I wanna hear your thoughts on it.

Number one.

Number two.

Yeah your set up is a beast, all you gotta do is upgrade that monitor. My friend (Nebuloxic) recently got the 1080 and he doesn't regret it at all. The 1080 is literally powerful enough to run most of the latest games at 1440p on ultra and even moderate settings on 4k. Two cards is literally overkill for 1440p even. Go for a 4k monitor. If you want a 1080p monitor, might as well get a 980 Ti to save some money tbh. And btw, upgrade the windows. Windows 10 is where it's at. Happy gaming, dude.

The first one, thats you should go for.
I would suggest to add a hdd for extra space with the ssd. And change the monitor, go with asus pg278q, 1440p @144hz with G-Sync for smoothest gameplay ever.

The GTX 1080 is no longer that powerful. If you think its overkill at 1080P try playing Wildlands or Watch Dogs 2 maxed out at 1080P
that sounds like poor optimization if anything. 1080p 60 max should be easy with 1 1080, heck a 1070 or 1060 6gb should be able to handle that game.

OT: 1080 ti just dropped.

Yeah... If you gonna go 1080p don't go for the GTX 1080 bruh that's just an absolute overkill especially if it's SLI, buy something cheaper for 1080p like a gtx 1050 ti or a 1060, i would go with number 1 just replace the 1080 with the 1050 ti or 1060 and you should be good to go.
